Wish I could give 0 stars. The school is 10K for the esthetics program and 20K for the cosmo training. The school has the worst turn around for teachers and directors that you don't get good training. Its really not a good school to go to for training. Try a community college. Golden West is 3K for the esthetics training, not sure how the schools compare, but at least its cheaper if they suck as well. We have had a teacher from HQ who has been wonderful and we have a teacher starting in a week. Things were going good, but now she switched to night class. SERIOUSLY, SAVE YOUR MONEY. GOLDEN WEST COLLEGE IS 3k AND MARINELLO IS 10K AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE STUDENTS...THIS HAS BEEN PROVEN TIME AND TIME AGAIN....I DO NOT WISH THIS SCHOOL ON ANYONE!!!! more

When I graduated from high school, I had no clue to what I wanted to do afterwards. My friend had gone to this school and suggested that I talk to them. I was so skeptical, but after meeting with the counselor, I was so sure that this was something that was NOT for me. How was that a good experience, well...I think knowing what is good and bad from the start is a good thing and they were so nice about it. PROS: Nice people CONS: Not for me, but maybe for you more

The first time I tried this place was about 4 years ago. I absolutely loved my hairdo which I had done for prom and with the cost being only about 15 dollars for an up do, how could I not love it. I had another formal event again for a convention last year though and decided to try it out again, but the service was absolutly horrible. I wanted to do a half up do, and not only did the salonists spend half the time arguing who would have to do my hair, but it ended up really far from what I had asked for. It seems that not many of the workers there like to do up dos and they're not afraid to let their customers know it. It is still pretty cheap in comparison to those top notch hairstylists though so that would possibly be the only reason I would ever use them again. more
