Best waffles I have had in a long time. This place puts any I Hop or waffle house I have been to to shame. The staff are friendly the food awesome. Cost great. Waffle for 3.99 and huge! Pros: Large portions, wonderful food. more

Best Cake in Town 5/7/2005

We discovered Marietta Diner soon after moving to Marietta and it's become a weekend ritual! Breakfast is great and served 24 hours. Everything on the menu (and there's so much to choose from) is good. Then the desserts... words can't describe! We go by once week just to pick-up a piece of the fresh made, one of a kind cakes. Pros: Busy all the Time, Dining Area-Crowded Cons: Cake, Friendly Atmosphere, Variety more

Another Wonderful Trip! 7/6/2004

On every visit I make to Atlanta, I must stop in the Diner at least once! On this trip...twice! I was pleased with my meal and thrilled with my dessert! Great service, very attentive! The Best By Far 1/29/2004

We have been early, and we have been late. It is always crowded, the service is always attentive and fast, and the food is just the best there is. For the price, there is not a better value anywhere. The seafood bisque is worth a trip all by itself, but the crowning touch is the desserts. They are just awesome! The white chocolate raspberry cake will melt in your mouth, and if you love cheesecake, you are in heaven. There are too many to list them all.We carry all our out of town visitors here, and they all want to go back every time they come to town. No matter what you want to eat, at any time of day, they have it! Pros: Food is Divine!, Service is great!, Very good value Cons: , none!, none! more

WONDERFUL 12/18/2002

I have dined at many locations and Marietta Diner has to be the best for value and selection. No matter what you feel like eating Marietta Diner has it. Oh and the deserts-even if you have just been to be the best place in Marietta you must go to Marietta Diner for dersert and coffee they have the best any where. Pros: clean, good service, Great Value Cons: entrance to small, not enough seating more

A Diner That Is Almost A Deli 11/14/2002

One of Atlanta's many many failings as a world-class city is the lack of a great Deli (we are not talking New York Deli, here, folks---like most things in both New York and Atlanta, New York Deli's are grossly over-rated)---but the Marietta Diner comes close: it actually serves both corned beef and pastrami and does not slather mayo on either one! The chicken salad is excellent; the potato salad great; the fries the best in the metro area; and the Greek dishes, from Greek salad to Spanikopita and Dolmades are as good as anything like them in Chicago. more

Great 11/8/2002

The portions are huge, the service is great and prices are reasonable. The owner is usually there and stops by each table. You must try their pastries and cakes (large enough for 2 to share). This is one of the best places in town. I have recomended this to many people and they have all been as pleased with it as I am. You have to try it! more

New York Diner in Marietta 9/15/2002

I'm hesitant to say how good I think this place is for fear of longer lines! Okay, I'll share if I must! The diner is typical of the best diners you will find on the outskirts of NYC. The place is very well run. The menu is beyond extensive, the food is ABUNDANT, and fresh. The Greek food is wonderful! There is that luscious rotating dessert case that makes you HOPE you have room left after the meal. Eh, just order some to take home. Don't forget the pastries and the HUGE cookies every New York Style Diner should have! more

Regardless of the time of day, this is one of the better places to get either a sandwich or a full blown meal. Prices are right and the portions are huge. Always full of local familys having a good time! Cons: Can be crowded more
