I wanted a unique dress for my prom a few years back and found a perfect dress online. A friend reffered me to Maria's Creation, even tough I went about a month before prom I asked her if it was possible for the dress to be ready in time. She assured me it would be, for a fitting she never showed, the place that closed, later she claimed she locked her keys in the car with my dress in it. 3 days before prom she calls and tells me to go pick up my deposit because she wasnt gonna finish my dress. I had to miss 2 school days looking for a dress at the last minute and return everything else that I had bought to coordinate with that dress. I was kinda glad because even tough I showed her multiple angles and shots of the dress I wanted she somehow didnt get it and the 2 pieces she managed to sew together before telling me to go pick up my deposit looked hidious! She's extremenly unproffesional and lacks some serious work ethic. more

My sister-in-laws wedding was ruined with the horrible bridesmaids dresses Maria put together. First she charged us 135.00. Then disappeared for 2 weeks. While we got fitted, numerous phone calls from angry customers were coming in. Alterations were wrong. Zippers broke 3 times while being fitted. At wedding, beeds fell off the dress. The hem freighed at the bottom. no boning in top, so breasts were exposed. then she wouldn't take responsibility for her mistakes. RUN Girls! Cons: POOR WORKMANSHIP more

If you ever need alterations NEVER go to Maria's she is a liar and has BAD work ethic. She almost ruined my wedding by doing the work I took her 2months prior to my wedding the week before! She also tried to make my bridesmaids look awful in their dresses, we had to buy new one's 3days before the wedding!! She used red yarn to sew on beads to a white dress!! more
