i was looking through a free paper and found a coupon with this little fifties-esque woman on the front sportin' a pizza and a smile. it said gourmet take and bake pizza. i love gourmet anything and i had never heard of take and bake. so i tried it and loved it. since october 2001 i have had more than 20 mama mimi's pizzas. you gotta get yours today! Mama Mimi's vs Planks 8/15/2002

Everyone at work has been talking about a pizza place called Planks, so we decided to go there for lunch. They were raving about how great the pizza was. I had one bite, and thought, you're kidding me!!! This is not GREAT... it's ok... but great? They need to try Mama Mimis Pizza. Then they will know what awesome is. I'm sorry I cheated Mama Mimi's. Mama mimi's is awesome. Bexley pizza plus is rubbery and WAY overpriced. They have absolutely no variation in the taste. A Large cheese is like $16.00!!!! more

The ABSOLUTE best pizza in town. Since they opened in Clintonville, I go at least once a week. The white garlic sauce beats any one else's hands down. And the staff actually seems to LIKE working there...which means they have superb customer service, both on the phone and in person. I love being able to phone my order, pick it up on my way home from work, then bake it when I want to. MUCH better than having to pay crazy delivery charges for pizza that will arrive I-don't-know-when that is cold!! Yea Mama!! Mama Mimi's Take 'n Bake Pizza is the absolute best pizza in town! I would recommend Mama Mimi's to anyone looking to give their taste buds a total workout. It's easy - just take it home & it cooks up in about 8 minutes. And the people there are always so nice! more

I have but one question after eating a Mama Mimi's pizza....how does the Domino's next door stay in business? This pizza is amazingly good, the smell of it baking filled our kitchen, and I can't wait to go back any try another variety. They are very reasonably priced too! more

This place reminds me of a chain that exists in Oregon called Figaro's Pizza, except Mama Mimi's isn't a chain and has much better pizza. It's a great concept--keep up the good work! more

I love Mama Mimi's Take n' Bake Pizza because of the taste, quality, and value. It is better than grocery store deli pizza and frozen pizza. You do not know how long it has been sitting, but with Mama Mimi's; you know when it is being made with the freshest ingredients. When you bake it, you can taste the fresh in each pizza. Their pepperoni is deli style, not small like other pizza places. more

A Mama Mimi Massive Mistake 8/7/2002

After hearing great things and being lured by heavenly scents, I eagerly took a pizza home. I put pizza in oven, as instructed, but then a nightmare ensued! The paper beneath the pizza started burning in my oven; then it burned the entire crust bottom. Meanwhile, the top stayed raw because the burning occured shortly after the pizza started baking. I was disappointed--the pizza smelled delicious until the burning smell took over. I might give it another try since other people reported stellar results, but definitely not with my oven! ***I wanted to add to my original review--I in no way want to prevent others from trying the pizza. So far everybody else had a positive experience. I believe the fault lies in my oven only. The manager has offered to refund my money and discuss this with me further, so I wanted to thank them for the considerate response. more

Great pizza concept-no arguing toppings 8/7/2002

When I first walked in the door, I was overcome with the aroma of fresh basil & garlic. There are so many toppings to choose from, but it's easy to build-it-your way. The staff makes great suggestions if you're not too sure what you really want. The crust is fantastic - tastes like you made at home & you're a pizza master! Mama Mimi's is without questions the best pizza I have eaten. There selction of pizza types from gormet to traditional are unmatched. The service is always friendly and fast. I eat at MaMa MiMi's every friday night .And all the pies that I have take cooked in my oven tave been great! The bakeing paper has never been of any problems.
