Great italian food 7/15/2011

We went to this upscale restaurant on the recommendation of one of our friends, who has lived in Hollywood for many years. At 9:30 p.m., the place was pretty crowded, but we were able to seat without reservations. They serve a full menu of Italian entrees that include steak, chicke parm, snapper and excellent pasta!. It is simply excellent food - the kind you wish your grandma made. The tomato sauce is wonderful. The fresh garlic rolls are awesome. Service was excellent. It has a fun atmosphere with lots of options to choose from. The portions are very large, so you'll have enough for another meal. \r \r more

I had an excellent dinner last night with my family. Excellent atmosphere, food, and outstanding service. We ate 'family style', and shared the portions, which I recommend. The servers brought way more food than we can eat, so we ended up taking it home for Sunday's brunch. My children loved the fetuccini, and my husband loved the meatballs! Mamma Mia is much, much better than some other restaurants such as olive garden, etc. The prices are reasonable for the excellent quality of the food. Treat yourself at Mamma Mia! more

I had an excellent dinner last night with my family. Excellent atmosphere, food, and outstanding service. We ate 'family style', and shared the portions, which I recommend. The servers brought way more food than we can eat, so we ended up taking it home for Sunday's brunch. My children loved the fetuccini, and my husband loved the meatballs! Mamma Mia is much, much better than some other restaurants such as olive garden, etc. The prices are reasonable for the excellent quality of the food. Treat yourself at Mamma Mia! more

I go to Mamma Mia at least once a week, but every time there is a different surprise. I have tried different steaks, kinds of pasta and seafood. It's all delicious and fresh. The servers are always polite and very friendly. Another advantage of the restaurant is that is located in downtown Hollywood, so I love to take walks around the plaza and stores after I eat more than I should. For tourists, this is an excellent spot to get to know Hollywood! more

Do you want to try the best N.Y. strip steak in the area?\r Then, got to Mamma Mia. My steak was just the way I like it: cooked medium well and the quality of the meat was fabulous. It was served with green herbs and crispy fries, which tasted really good too. \r \r I was really happy with the service. The server recommneded my dish,and he was really patient when taking the order.\r \r I can't wait to come back ! more

Best selection of food 6/3/2011

I live close to Hollywood, but I had never been in Mamma Mia before. Last week I went there with my family and was delighted to try different menu items.\r \r I ordered stuffed ravioli, which was delicious. They reminded me of my grandma's homemade pasta. Then, I tried skirt steak, lobster and meatball from my family's plates. Everything was excellent! The service was great too. The servers knew what they were talking about and they helped us to select our dishes.\r \r We had a great evening! more

Best Itailan Restaurant In South Florida!!!! 5/26/2011

\r I love going here after work for the early bird happy hour 1 for 3! The restaurant is so relaxing with a great ambiance and great food. The service is fantastic and always on time. I have dinner there almost every Friday and during the week is lunch and cocktails. It is decorated very nice and the location is so convenient right off the Federal highway!!\r more

i love this place i frequent here alot they have great food at very resonable prices. i went for lunch yesterday and had a great snapper dish with pasta and my favorite soup from here "lobster bisque" it's by far the best i've had anywhere!! Bottom line is mama mias has great food,good prices, great service and for lunch your in and out!! more
