I had my first laser hair removal treatment at Maia Skin last week. Michelle was my aesthetician, she's great. Very sweet and comforting. She took time to explain what I was going to experience. The laser wasn't what I expected-it didn't hurt at all. The laser has this cold air burst followed by a slight tingle, a flash of light, and POOF! The hair is gone! I met the doctor too, he's very knowledgable. I will definitely be going back for more! They also offer chemical peels and microdermabrasion. I think this week I'll get something like that done, and eventually I'll get the rest of my unwanted hair removed. I was pleasantly surprised with Maia Skin. After having received the "Hard Sell" from other laser centers, I expected more of the same. Not only did I not get the hard sell, but my consultation was free and all my questions were answered without the constant pressure to buy a service package. Maia Skin sells their treatments per service, and welcomes you to pay as you treat if you prefer. As a result I received Radiesse, an Ultrasonice Microdermabrasion (better than any crystal treatment I have ever had) and I am planning to go back for some laser hair removal.
