One of Seattle's larger parks, there is almost nothing, you can't do. It has: dog park, sports of every kind (including indoor soccer nearby in an old hanger), boating, swimming (though the rocky beach part sucks), walking, running, bird watching, and even the somewhat famous 'Sound Garden' that the band is named after is accessible from the park. Not to forget views of the lake and Cascade Mtns. and Mt. Rainier. The old Naval Station holds events such as the 'Best of the Northwest' and is where of our famous pigs were made. Named also for our greatest Senator, and well, it truly is the best. more
