Maaco Auto Painting & Bodywork

I am quite protective of my car and each time I have to bring it somewhere I get nervous, especially if I have to leave it somewhere overnight. I took it to Maaco off of Westlake because I had a nice dent from someone's fist on my hood and I wanted to remove that unsightly spectacle. The folks here were very conversational and respectful about the work I needed to get done and very reassuring about the care they would take with the car. I left the shop feeling good about where I was leaving it and was more than pleased when I got it returned. My hood looks better than it ever has and they even were generous enough to touch up a few other areas without my asking. All in all, this is the place to go if you need some bodywork/paint done. They take pride in what they do and as for my experience, they truly appreciate each customer who comes through their door. My son purchased a 1988 Mustang with a ""Mystique"" paint job, which I discovered is not an easy to match paint. After taking it to three different repair shops and being told they could not match the paint I was fortunate to find Justin at Seattle Maaco on Westlake. He assured me the paint on the hood and side would match the rest of the car and it matched beautifully with the rest of the paint job. If I ever need to go to a repair shop again in the future, I will definitely call Justin and work with him in repairing/painting any vehicle I have. My friend damaged my car and didn't want to turn it in to his insurance. So, I tried to find a reasonable priced shop. Maaco was a reasonable price, but they did excellent work. I can not tell my car had any repairs. The paint matched perfectly. more

I've brought my car to this Maaco twice, once out of desperation and twice because I'd been so happy the first time. I was not disappointed. The first time, I had a collision with an uninsured driver and needed to cover my own deductible. Justin was able to fix not only the extensive damage to my front end but also a lot of minor damage I'd caused myself (scratches, knocking of my mirror, etc) for LESS than my insurance company had paid me. The second time, I was found at fault for an accident so still needed to cover my deductible, and they were able to fix all the damage for significantly less than I'd been paid...all while cleaning up some minor scratches and dings without being asked. I feel extremely lucky for finding this place, I hope someone else discovers them as well! Pros: inexpensive but thorough repair Cons: not all maaco's are owned by this guy more
