I was back in Ma in October. I had not been to Lynnwood pizza since 1973 when I was 10. I found my way there like I had been there yesterday. It was and still is my favorite pizza...

Worst

A few of our friends from Randolph told us we had to try Lynwood Cafe. So we did. What an overall disappointment. The pizza (which is the only food they serve there) is typical pu...

Awesome real pizza 12/4/2002

Great pizza, tasty sauce and great prices. I grew up on the stuff. One time while I was living in Seattle I flew home for the stuff. While I was there I was noticed by a family member, now how does one explain that. Pros: take out, prices Cons: small serving area more

awesome 11/27/2002

best pizza i have ever had not for ambience just great pizza have been eating it for at least 40 years Pros: taste Cons: small seating capacit more

hometown pizza 11/27/2002

The Lynwood Cafe has been serving the best pizza as far back as I can remember. There aren't any fancy toppings, just the basics. But the pizzas are made with just right mix of cheese & tomato with a crisp crust underneath. It has to be tasted on the premises to get the true ""Lynwood"" experience. It is not a fancy restaurant, it's a bar with booths & tables. Others try to copy, but no one comes close. The Lynwood is the best! Pros: inexpensive, good parking Cons: crowded, smoky more

I LOVE their pizza! 11/27/2002

Having lived in Randolph for 24 years, there is no better pizza in the world. In my new area I try every pizza place I can find hoping they are at least half as good as Lynwood. I LOVE their pizza and miss the opportunity to have it more often. Hey Lynwood...how about opening up another location near Andover!!! Pros: Pizza, Pizza, Pizza more

MM MM Good 11/27/2002

The best pizza around. Any topping you want. Delecious. Romantic it's not. Beer and pizza!! more

A SOUTH SHORE LEGEND 11/27/2002

I grew up in the northest corner of Brockton right near the Holbrook line. The Lynwood Cafe was within 3 miles of our house. Their pizzas were favorites of not only our family, but most of our neighbors, too. There were other pizza restaurants nearby, but everybody went the extra 2 miles for the Lynwood Cafe pizzas. Nobody ever complained about of a less-than-excellent pizza from Lynwood Cafe. Whenever I return to the area for family visits, I swing by Lynwood Cafe. We usually do take-out. more

A Randolph Institution 11/14/2002

Our whole family loves the place, been going for years... great blend of cheeses, light sauce, distinctive crust. The ""MOP"" (mushroom, onion, pepper) is a favorite... ""baked bean deluxe"" is one to try. Expect a delay on Friday nights: they sometimes get so busy that they leave the phones off the hook. Though this is the best in Randolph, try Amvets on Pleasant Street or O'Donnell's on Main Street for a similar style. more

great pizza 11/6/2002

excellent pizza, simple, well worth the cheap price. The Lynwood, as long as I've been going there and thats been about 15 years, has always been consistent. Good basic toppings that don't try to be anything other than what they are, its a good thing I don't live closer. Pros: Inexpensive, Tasty Pizza Cons: Very Busy weekends more

Doesn't get aaannnny betta! 11/6/2002

The ZZA is great and the waitresses are HOT!!!!! A great place to relax and enjoy Hot Pizza and Cold Beer! Pros: Inexpensive Cons: small waiting area, long wait more

Best Pizza ever! 11/6/2002

I have been going to the Lymwood since I was in my mother's womb, and there is NO pizza in the world better....NONE! Pros: taste, price, cost Cons: often crowded, smoking allowed, small drinks more

Worth the drive and/or wait 11/6/2002

I absolutely love their pizza. And I can't seem to find another place that makes pizza quite like this. I drive from Quincy to do take out, however on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night there could be up to a two hour wait for take out orders if you are lucky enough to get through on the phone. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants great pizza but doesn't really mind a ""no frills"" setting. Pros: Inexpensive, delicious Cons: long waits on weekend more

Simply the Best 11/6/2002

As far as pub pizza goes this place beats them all! The pizza is without question the best. My wife and I have moved over 50 miles away and still drive down on the weekends at least once a month to feast on their great pies! more

The Legendary Pizza 11/5/2002

Since I was a small child living in Randolph, the Lynwood Cafe was always the only pizza that my parents would order on Friday nights for supper. Because Fridays were a ""no eat meat"" supper, and there were (8) kids in our family...Lynwood was the best deal in town. Our order was always cheese pizzas and onion & pepper for my parents. When my sister lived in California, my mom delivered (5) pizzas to Anaheim, CA, via Delta Airlines. My husband and I delivered (12) pizzas to Marietta, Ga. to another Randolphian who had been transferred, and they were absolutely thrilled. Nothing like a Lynwood Pizza!!! When I am in Randolph, I always order pizza for my family because my own children have been brought up on them as well. Some places have come close, but never have we had one that we can say...tastes like Lynwood!!!! Pros: Friendly, Excellent Pizza, Inexpensive more

The Best 11/5/2002

Linwood Cafe pizza is consistently delicious. The new Baked Bean is a refreshing, out of the ordinary variation on the standard faire. Just the best. more

Strong cheese 11/1/2002

I have been to the Lynwood twice. They have small barroom size pizzas. Each time I went the first few slices, I liked the taste and would rate it highnot grease, nice sauce, good crust and ok cheese. But the cheese has a lingering aftertaste that becomes dominating about midway through the pizza. At the end all I could taste was the cheese and did not like it. I would recommend this place to people that like a strong cheese flavor to their pizza or dont eat more than half a small pizza per sitting. more

THE BESTEST PIZZA 11/1/2002

I personally think this is the best pizza I have ever tasted. Everyone that I introduce to this place absolutely loves it. It is a small place but for a bar type pizza it is tops. I eat many...probably too many..but many pizzas and consider myself a pizza fanatic. I would highly recommend Lynwood cafe to anyone. Pros: BEST PIZZA Cons: CROWDED more

pizza night out 11/1/2002

Not the best ambeance but great for fun. Good for pizza after playing ball or after the movie. Quick service and always the same quality pizza. more

Absolutely the best 10/31/2002

One of a kind pizza, sauce just spiced enough, cheese actually has a sharp flavor, toppings generous. crust nice and crisp. Priced great too. Only drawback is long wait on weekend for take-out. It can take an hour to get through on the phone and another hour wait for the pizza but well worth the wait. Lynwood is basically a bar that serves the best pizza around for miles. Not a chain!! Pros: friendly staff, great food, great price Cons: bad parking, very little seating, noisy more

Fun With the Murphy's 10/31/2002

Although this place is very old it is still a lot of fun. I go there with a friend (and children) and we have a great time playing their bowling game. The waitress that I know is super nice and almost waits for a pleasant wait. Pros: delicious pizza, comfortable atmospher, fun w/ friends Cons: dark, smokey more
