Will never again go to Lynnwood Honda for servicing 2/24/2008

Fe weeks ago I called to make an appointment for two of my honda vehicles. I made the appointment one day apart for both vehicles. I went with my first vehicle in the first day of appointment. The guy says, there was a typo on the system and my appointment is actually the next day not that day. I need to mention here that I had added a reminder in my outlook calendar when I made the call. I asked him if he could accommodate and i was ready to wait as long as i had to. He said he could not and told me to come the next day Next day, I went to the dealer again but was late for 15 minute. The guy gave me a big lecture and told me he can not accommodate me for the scheduled oil change as I was late. He, like I said, lectured me giving example of doctor's office visit and what not. I told him, I realize I was late and told him that they have kept my car for days when they promised me to service my car in couple hours. But he would not buzz. At that point, I told him that I will never again to his dealer for any service and left the dealer. So, they are not accommodating, rude, and would deserve zero start. more

Lynnwood Honda does not want your business 10/11/2007

My story starts 3 years ago. I walked into Lynnwood Honda to purchase a brand Element. It was approximately 8:00pm and the dealership closed at 9:00. A sales guy walked up to me and asked if he could help. I told him that I wanted to test drive an Element. I guess he judged me as some punk kid looking to waste his time because he told me that it was late, he had paperwork to do and if I wanted to test drive a car to come back the following day. The next day I did come back. I pulled up in my new VW GTI and thanked him for not selling me a car. A few days ago, I came to the conclusion that I still want an Element. I went to Honda.com, built the car I wanted and sent the information off. Lynnwood Honda was the first and only dealership to respond to me. It was a simple message asking me what I wanted in an Element. Strange because I had just filled all of that out online. So I wrote back and waited, and waited and I'm still waiting for an answer. Apparently their not hurting for business to badly. more

Reputable dealers still exist 5/5/2007

I was really impressed with how this dealership cut through the BS I experienced at Honda dealers in Bellevue and Kirkland. I called them up requesting a quote on an Accord, they beat the best one I got at Bellevue, and gave me a fair price on the trade. They also don't put on the fluff (read: mandatory options like wheel locks) that the other area dealers do. The quote I received was good indefinitely - no "tonight only" tactics. Even though I could have probably haggled a bit more to save a couple hundred bucks, I rewarded their honesty and took the deal. The business manager (aka the guy that tries to sell you the worthless stuff like rustproofing) applied less pressure than I would have figured. Overall it was as hassle-free as car buying gets and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend them to others. more

Worst buying experience of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4/12/2007

My review in a nutshell: Lynnwood Honda is unethical and gives horrendous customer service. Do not give them your business!!!!! I had the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life at Lynnwood Honda. I found the car I wanted and drove it, it had not been detailed and the windshield wipers were bad. I was promised it would be cleaned, detailed and a safety check would be done so I left for three hours and came back to a disgustingly filthy dirty car, both inside and out and when I went to clean it myself I realized the car had no rear brake lights!! Also, the intake was not bolted down, the front license plate was not put on and one of the reverse lights was not plugged in. When I called the next business day the Assistant Service Manager, Pete, offered no apology. A few minutes later the Sales Manager, Keith called and was unbelievably rude to me, admitted the car had not been detailed or a safety check done and told me to bring it in so they could do it (also never said he was sorry). I brought the car in that night and when I attempted to show the sales guy what I wanted fixed he told me that he was going to have me tell the guys in service and then never took me back there or gave me an opportunity to show them the many, many problems with the car. He did give me free sonics tickets for that night which was nice. When I went to pick up the car the next night I immediately noticed hundreds of small cracks in the paint on the hood, which were not there when I bought the car. When I pointed them out to the sales guy he got very defensive and said they were already there. The windshield wiper had also not been fixed and the front plate was nowhere to be found. I left the car there to be finished. That night I called the General Manager, Mike Popkey, and left a voice mail. The next morning I called again and spoke with him. What an awful experience!! After explaining just some of my experience up to that point he yelled at me to listen to him and told me that he didn't even want to help me since I had told him I would never recommend Lynnwood Honda to any one I know. He argued with me about the cracks and did not apologize at all for any of the enormous hassle I had been through. For the manager of a business that is based on customer service he sure treats customers disrespectfully. All in all, this was the worst experience I have ever had buying anything. I feel taken advantage of and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. more

Seamless Experience 7/1/2006

We just purchased our first NEW car. We were scared, as we've always had piece-of-BEEP cars that were very sensible, but with a growing family, it makes sense. So, we did our research and went to the Belluvue Honda dealership and made an offer - they gave us a pretty good price, gave us privacy to talk about it, but didn't have the color we wanted. We then went to Klien Honda in Everett...they did a LOT of haggling about the price, finally met it, but they too didn't have the right color. So, we went to Lynnwood Honda. I had to go without my husband, so I thought it would be tough - being a woman, I've had a hard time in car lots. I told them the offers that were made at the other dealerships, no haggling - beat it and had our color delivered there in a few days (last one in the state)!! Fred helped us - he was so calm and helpful, didn't push, and was refreshing after our big ordeal this week...so, he got the sale. We expected a drawn out paper signing experience, but that was enjoyable as well!!! Highly recommended!!! more

Lynnwood Honda 8/19/2005

I still remember that cheesy but catchy jingle Lynnwood Honda had out in the early 90's... ! Lynnwood Honda does sell cars, but I've only dealt with them in a repair and service capacity so far. They're very reliable and honest. They're great about explaining exactly what needs doing and why, and will always call if the cost looks like it's going to exceed the estimate. Once, I was considering having the air-conditioning in my '87 Accord replaced. They laid out for me very clearly all the pros and cons, and warned me that it would probably cost more than the blue-book value on the car. I appreciated that they didn't try to talk me into an unneccessary and expensive repair. Now, I've got a newer Civic, and have been in for oil-changes etc. since Lynnwood Honda's remodel. Their new waiting room is great - it has TV, internet access, free beverages; the works! I highly recommend them! more
