Go straight to Lukas Nursery in Oviedo, FL. It's well worth the drive! Very large selection of plants of all types: landsaping, vegetable, trees, citrus, you name it! The grounds are beautiful and it is very enjoyable to just visit and look around. They also have a large selection of pottery and other gardening supplies. Lukas is a family business. In fact one time I was shopping and had a bunch of questions. An older gentleman answered me patiently and even gave me a large bag of their potting soil that was ripped open. Turns out he was the senior Mr. Lukas. I feel that the prices are very reasonable, especially when you consider the superior health/ size of their plants vs. the Big Chain Hardware Stores. I really like this nursery. Prices are very competitive, stock on hand is great & the staff is very knowledgeable. We have bought citrus trees, as well as other trees & for an extra charge they will deliver & plant them for you. I have always been very pleased with my dealings with them. I always buy my bedding plants from them & have found them to have a large variety of plants. more
