Christian Louboutin, Escada, Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch! These are among the designer labels I've had the joy of adding to my closet since I started shopping at Zoe's last fall.
It's hard to find a consignment boutique that has unique items, great service, a good atmosphere, and doesn't feel like an overpriced thrift store, but Zoe's succeeds in doing so. If you shop consignment in Denver, you know what I mean... But Zoe's is actually a serene and beautiful shopping environment. It has the feel of a nice boutique, and isn't overrun with a lot of strange merchandise with a few gems in between. It is stylishly put together, which is a good sign. After all, how much can you trust people to style you if their shop isn't even put together? But here, the fitting rooms are comfortable, swanky, and cool. You'll want to stay and try clothes on all day!
There's lots of opportunities for personalized attention at Zoe's, which is run by Zoe and her fashionista daughter Harper. When you shop there, you know you are contributing to the success of local business owners, and you can tell they care by the time and attention they put in with each customer. They are happy to help you find a good look for you- whether or not you know what that look is. If you talk to them in advance by phone or on Facebook, they are happy to pull some items for you in advance. They are also happy to look out for specific items that you feel you need.
They also have great options for consigning with them, and are the most flexible boutique I've found. They take consignments, but allow either cash or store credits as well. Bringing in my old duds has allowed me to upgrade my wardrobe quite a bit! Zoe's never fails to disappoint. I've never left empty handed, and on each visit I've found beautiful classic and trendy pieces. I've purchased my first pair of Louboutins there that I never could have afforded otherwise, and my first (two) Escada suits.
Hats off to Zoe's for doing what you do, and ladies, run, don't walk, before everyone else beats you there!
