Lone Star Floors recently completed Installing Tile and Wood in my home. The completed work was beautiful -- they are expert craftsmen who really know their business. They were prompt, efficient, and meticulous. Mohamed and John really go the extra mile in pleasing the customer. We recommend them highly -- their work is outstanding. more

I had Hardwood flooring installed throughout the entire house and I have to say this company's work is absolutely fabulous. John and Mohamed were so meticulous with every detail. They also answered all of my concerns about flooring throughout the installation process (and I learned a few secret tricks of the trade). I would recommend this company to my closest friends. more

Lone Star Floors did a wonderful job on my house. i went to there show room and they had just what i was looking for. I put down some tile and some carpet and they had both i high recommend this company to anyone who wants some quality flooring experts more

These guys do great quality work. Little extra steps they took that normally get overlooked by the end user were done with great detail and pride. I was surprised by the professionalism of their employees from the bottom level to the top! more

Treated me right 6/17/2010

Treated me right I am a single woman who has more than once been taken advantage of by contractors. It was nice to feel comfortable having these guys in my home and not worrying that they were going to try to take advantage of me and overcharge me for the Hardwood flooring. The price they quoted me over the phone stuck and there was no pressure to purchase other services. I would feel comfortable recommending them to my friends. more

Do Not Trust them! 2/22/2010

We hired Lone Star Floor’s to refinish our floor and to do some work on an original wooden staircase. The project was a disaster. The salesman began by measuring the floor and intentionally mis-measuring by adding several feet in each direction. Yes, people make mistakes, but this was an attempt to overcharge us. The men then worked for two days and were incompetent. We are not sticklers for perfection, but this was a C or D grade job. The floor has nicks all over, the coatings/colors are applied unevenly, and they made a mess far beyond what any other contractor has done before or since. The men were also arrogant (they treated my wife very rudely). In short, Lone Star takes no pride in its work and is the classic dishonest contractor we all fear. Do not trust them with your home or money. more

Deceptive 2/21/2010

I thought I was getting good quality hardwood for the price I paid, however, based on my experiences with their sales people and customer relations people I now know it was just a cheap Chinese substitute for quality! My main request was to nothing from China! The Chinese don’t have the same environmental concerns, control or guidelines as US/UK. This is the worse retail outlet I have ever dealt with. They are deceptive and incompetent. They tell you one thing and then pull a switch and bait. On a scale of 0-10 they are sub-zero. more

If you are looking to get hardwood flooring for a new house, I suggest you get it elsewhere. One of the things that I noticed was that they dont even care about your house. The salesman who came in to measure our floors walked right through with his dirty boots, instead of realizing that all 4 of us had our shoes off (as in asian custom) by the door. I was about to say something, but instead I just decided to pick a different contractor. more

Terrible experience! My antique furniture was damaged (they said they didn't do it though it was perfect before they got there-just because it's obviously old doesn't mean it wasn't previously in great condition!) the floor was improperly installed and it did not arrive on time. Do your research before selecting! more
