Just Wondering... 10/11/2010

This is normally a place my husband and I enjoy for special dates. I love French Onion soup and the soup at Lombardi's is usually great. This last Friday, though, I had a let down. French Onion soup is made with a beef broth base. Last Friday, my soup was RED! It was a strange tomato base as if made by an inexperienced chef, or someone spilled tomato puree in it. As we had a couple with us, I didn't feel like saying anything at the time. Just enjoyed the company, the steak..but that soup was definitely off. What happened, Chef? more

Over Rated 10/11/2009

Good - but defintely not a great dining experience, unless you like a weaker copy of Ruth's Chris or Del Frisco's. The oversized, over micro waved "baked" potato and raw el dente vegetables did not impress. Good be so much better. more

GREAT FOOD & GREAT SERVICE Bring your money it's expensive but worth it all. Packers Fans and sports people .. this is the place to go .. I was so involed in the decor .. it was done absolutely great , Coach Lombardi's personal memorabilia showcased throughout the restaurant, a Brunswick style bar and elegant lounge area, as well as two private dining areas for large parties. This is a world class steakhouse with a commitment to excellence both in service and food and beverages. it was the best time of my life .. the food was beyond super .. must go and see .. even if you don't want to eat .. more
