Let's get one thing straight -- most colorists are clueless when it comes to getting blonde right. Even if they have the ""right"" zip code and charge $500 for color, most stylists miss the mark (too dark, too brassy, too damaged, etc). I've been to salons from Brentwood to Bev Hills from Fred Segal to Jose Eber and no one can do what Francesca and Heather can do. Whether I want to go ultra light or throw in some low lights, we sit down, have a full consultation and in the end I always leave getting exactly what I asked. They cover the spectrum when it comes to clientele but I'm strictly a blonde so can only review on what I know. In the past I've left other salons many times feeling disappointed that I just paid a fortune and haven't gotten the results I asked for. I've been coming here for more than three years and I'll never go anywhere else. more

I went to the Lloyd-Windsor salon just to get my friend to stop talking about how I needed a new haircut and color. She talked to me about Heather and Francesca for at least a year. Since I live in the South Bay and was fairly happy with my usual haircut and color, I waited at least a year before going to Lloyd-Windsor. I didn't want to fight the traffic to go to Beverly Hills for a color and cut. Now, I have to say, I'm sorry I didn't go to Lloyd-Windsor sooner. I absolutely LOVE my haircut. Heather is a master of precision cutting. Every hair falls into place. I have naturally waivy hair and I had to wash it every day before this cut. Now, I can go at least two days without having to wash and hot iron my hair. Because of this, my hair is healthier and without frizz. Francesca knew what colors would be right for my complexion which brightened up immediately. After getting color and a cut that was right for my features, I was very happy. But, I never expected the wonderful comments I received from friends and total strangers. Now, I'm the person who wants to say ""you MUST go see Heather for a new cut and Francesca for color."" I have been going to Lloyd Windsor for the past 4 years, and they are fantastic! After going to several of the bigger name salons and not being happy with my color, I found them on the internet. I gave them a try, and wouldn't go anywhere else. I have strawberry blonde hair that has started to go gray, and in the past, the color has either been too dark or too blonde. Not with Francesca (one of the two owners), who gets my color just right. She also gives a fantastic hair cut, and prices are reasonable. It is a small salon with only Heather and Francesca (mother and daughter super-duo) that do everything themselves, so it is a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I used to dread going to the salon, and now I look forward to the experience, the outstanding results, and visiting with my two friends. more

Francesca and Heather are not only amazing hair stylists and colorists but they are the friendliest people i have ever met. I go to their salon every month for a cut and color (yes, Francesca does an amazing men's color that looks natural - not the reddish tint i get everywhere else) and it is like visiting friends when i am there. You are not pushed from once chair to another with 20 people running all around you like at other salon's. At Lloyd-Windsor they treat you like a friend and actually listen to what you want. What an incredible place! My mom and I have been going to Francesca and Heather for a couple of years now, and every time our hair is amazing. Francesca is the most amazing colorist I have ever been to (and I have been to many!) Not only are Francesca and Heather extremely talented, but they are such a joy to be around. I love Heather and Francesa! ?These women used to cut and color hair for all the top fashion models in New York, so they are seasoned pros. ?Far from being elitists, it's hard to say which Windsor is more genuine, nurturing and fun. These are delightful women! ?Heather is from England, and her dry London wit has me giggling the entire time. Francesca, her daughter, is a gifted artist and colorist who makes my honey blonde hair look as natural as sun filled days of highlights from childhood. I never have ?brassiness? which seemed to happen all the time with other colorists. Heather has the magic touch when she cuts and styles hair. I recently walked in with a photo of Kristen Kreuk?s adorable haircut from her guest appearances on ?Chuck?, and Heather made my cut equally cute, if not better, by barely glancing once at the photo. After reading the many positive reviews about this salon I decided to give it a try for color and made an appt. with Francesca. Upon arriving I was pleasantly suprised at how cute and friendly this salon was. Both Francesca and Heather were so sweet and obviously very educated in the hair color department. They analyzed my bleach blonde hair and came up with a solution to give me the desired blonde I had so long been looking for. Well, after four highlight and lowlight colors used to give off a natural blonde color, my hair turned out amazing and made me very happy!
