Worst service ever. DO NOT call these people for any reason. They are rude, unprofessional, and generally just horrible human beings. I drove to their business to talk to them about a problem I was having. When I told Rick the symptoms and asked his opinion he literally stared at me for a full eight or nine seconds without responding, I guess for dramatic effect, before finally responding "Kiss of death". Then he just continued to stare at me for another five seconds before I eventually had to ask him "Okay. What does that mean?". I'm not making this up. He continues to stare at me for another ten seconds and then says "Heat exchanger". Silence. So I say "Okay. That sounds bad. What do you recommend?" More awkward staring followed by "You might need a new one". I left and went home to my frigid house and to verify that it did in fact smell acidic, apparent confirming that it was a bad heat exchanger. When I went back to their store, the extremely rude enormous rhino of a woman said he wasn't there and after explaining to her that we had been "working together" to solve a problem I had she apparently decided I was worthy of information and told me her would return in approximately an hour and a half. I guess this was all the information she was willing to distribute because she just wandered back into the office with the huge window and sat down in front of a meal meant for a small family and just dug in like it was her last meal. So I gave him some time and gave him a call back after two hours and he told me he would call around and check for parts and call me back. That was two weeks ago and he has never returned my call. more

Furnace installers used my pool table for a work bench placing tools on felt top. When the chimney liner cap came off some months later due to cheap rivets they wouldn't fix because of bad weather so I climbed up on the roof and did it myself, after being told the liner could collapse and asphyxiate my family.They kept on telling me I needed new furnace, air conditioning until I bought everything. When a part under warranty needed replacing I had to call repeatedly (my usual experience) and after about 6 months have given up. I will eat the $300. to replace the part under warranty rather than deal with these people ever again. First bad review I have ever written. In an economy like this you think people would worry about their reputation more. I gave them one star because they never actually used a gun while taking my money. more

This company offered a promotion for service with a free filter. They conducted the service, but never installed a filter. They have been lying about the situation ever since. An incredibly vulgar, and unintelligent man named Ken attempted to contact me, but failed to understand 90% of the English language. This company has been reported to the Better Business Bureau and a formal legal dispute will be filed. It is my suggestion to stay away from disreputable companies such as this one. more

The guys at Lizut were very helpful and competitive with their pricing on our new furnace. I felt that they were honest and fair. I would recommend them to anyone. more

Lizut Heating and Cooling is your HVAC DIY headquarters. They predominantly carry products from Carrier, which in my opinion is a very good brand. I replaced both my furnace and installed air conditioning in my house, myself, with the guidance of Ken Lizut (owner) and his trained staff. Their prices are very fair, and they stock a lot of products. They even do custom sheet metal fabrication, as I needed a custom transition piece from the condenser to my existing plenum. Mind you, I never knew what these were until Ken gave me a crash course in "Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning". I was able to install everything myself with minimal trouble. In addition to DIY sales, they provide installation by trained professionals and general maintenance. They even came out and installed a chimney liner for me (I don't do heights!), and their price was VERY good. more
