I would recomend this salon to people who really value their hair. The people there are as talented as ever, but the best part is they are so down to earth. No noses in the air, and no pressure. They took the time to talk to me about what I really wanted and listened to me!! It is full service and full of funf (*great music! and tea). I just had the best facial than I have ever had in 30 year! That is quite the statement since I have had them done all over the country in all the toniest name spas. Marie has the hands of an angel! She has a heated bed to cuddle up and fully relax on and I love the Dermalogica products she used on my skin. I will definately be back for more! more

You are truly an amazing group of individuals who make a difference in your community!\r \r On Sunday June 22nd Lisa Power and her staff Jeremy, Zoe, Sarah, Tammy, and Marley opened their doors to help support me and the Susan G Komen 3 Day Walk by raising $3,000!!! This group of individuals are absolutely amazing and their clients equally so! The entire salon came together to make this event an incredible success and rocked the house! They not only donated their time (and only day off) but they donated 100% of services dollars generated for the day and all retail sale profits! We had friends and family supporting this event as well as new friends made from the community. Many new hairstyles were created as well as many memories!\r \r This event was an amazing success with so many haircuts, colors, foils and oh the retail sales. We had Katherine, one of Jeremy's clients, come in on Sunday while running errands just to pick up her retail products because she knew all profits would go towards the Susan G Komen 3 Day... WOW! I started going to Lisa when she was at Gary Manuel -- and followed her here to her new salon. When I visited the new salon for the first time it happened to be their second day of opening -- and I didn't even know it!! They were organized, prepared, friendly, attentive, and very happy in the new space. It wasn't until I was leaving and remarked how nice the place looked that I even found out they had just moved in! Now, that's a good businesswomen... now to the hair part: more

First off, I think I may have only gotten a couple of excellent haircuts from Lisa. This was during the late 90's when we both worked as hairstylists at the same salon down the street in Belltown. After five years of working together, I ended up moving to LA and she continued to work at the "other" place. In the five years I worked with her, I was always highly impressed by her professionalism, character, great personality, her ease of working with her clients, her excellent technique in both haircolor, foil, and cuts - every customer that she touched ALWAYS walked out of the salon looking like GOLD. I have to say, as a fellow hairstylist, she really is the creme da la creme! I learned a lot from her, and in working with her, it actually made my skills as a hairstylist that much greater. Between hairstylists (they usually don't like to be critiqued---hairstylists are very self-critical, like any artist), Lisa will, without a doubt fulfill your hair dreams, and take away your hair dilemmas. I can truly say, if I was a "client" who wanted one of the best (if not THE best in Seattle) I would personally see Lisa Power. And that's the truth of the matter, coming from another hairstylist in the biz. Pros: Anything that Lisa does with hair is the best! Otherwise, too much to mention here. Lisa Power is a magician with hair color (and she gives a great haircut, too). I've been going to her for about 15 years for color and have only "cheated" on her once - wow, what a mistake. I had to go to Lisa to get the color corrected. Never again will I go to anyone else. Her color is natural looking and will leave your hair in great condition. Not only is she highly skilled, she's a wonderful person and fun to talk to. It's a good idea to book your appointments as far out as you can, as I have a feeling that she'll be as popular in her own salon as she was at Gary & Manuel - and deservedly so. Pros: All hair services are top-notch! Cons: None more

I used to go to the most experienced people at that other salon and no matter how many people I tried, or how long I stuck with the "best" person, no matter how many times I described what I wanted, begged and bribed, my hair was always brassy and yellow, with a misplaced blotch of off color or if I was lucky, just some small but annoying imperfection. Now that I have Lisa, who has been doing my hair for a year now, I have beautiful, perfect hair. I have grown it long because it is so healthy and pretty that I can. I have blonde highlights and chocolate lowlights with a third cooling color close to my natural dark blonde; they look lovely and natural. There is never even the tiniest color mistake for me to fret over. And my bangs are always perfect! Do you know how hard it is to have nice looking bangs? My hair is long with some layering in the front (I'm not sure what the style is called) and the layers always look beautiful, never choppy. Since I met Lisa, I haven't had a bad hair day. It is such a relief to never have to worry about my hair. Pros: Never worry about your hair again Cons: None more

Her new salon is gorgeous: a witty nod to modern minimalism yet filled with color and texture. It is a welcoming, light filled oasis. Lisa Power has finally opened her own salon. Already had the opportunity to check it out and was thrilled. The place looks so groovy, the chairs/sinks are SO comfortable (you won't believe how comfy til you try them) and Lisa and crew are doing a fabulous job (of course)! You know when you walk in that you are in creative and talented hands. No matter what style, length or color I try, she always does an AMAZING job.
