While I love to shop Liquormart in Boulder for their great advertised deals, friendly and knowledgeable staff, I have been disappointed to find some of their ""deals"" to be a bit off the mark. I found a bottle of cab that was ""on sale"" for $24, with a ""regular price"" of $45. It was a good name so I went for it. I later found out the MSRP was actually $24. I saw it later at other stores at $18-$20. Well, I just came home with a gift box of Champagne that was again ""on sale"" at $35, with a ""regular price"" of $50. I just found a press release online stating the MSRP of the exact gift box at $30. I was unfamiliar with both bottles and was sucked in by the apparently good discounts advertised by the in-store signs. I know fine wine and spirit prices are somewhat based on supply and demand but I don't feel either of these items were in low supply. I think they were just ""mis-marked"".
Pros: Good deals(normally)
Cons: Sometimes mismarked high end items
