Editorial review from Citysearch 9/25/2012

My soup was probably warm at some point, but by the time it got to me, it was barely warm. Salad was OK, very bare. Kids mac and cheese....how nice that they sprinkled cheese over what they made from the box they opened.\r I would not spend my money here again. Food = C+ more

Expensive and below par 9/23/2010

Food is way below par for what you pay for it. The only thing great about this place is the atmosphere and bekieve me you pay for it. The menu is huge and have some cool names but the way the food is prepared is like being in a high school cafeteria. You would think for what you pay, the food would be outstanding, but sadly it isn't. If you are looking to watch a game and spend some money, come to this place. If you're looking for a great meal, keep driving. more

Not a Customer Friendly Place 7/15/2009

The Turkey Ruben sandwich was cold and soggy. The bread seemed to be day old. However, the sandwich was tasty or maybe I was just hungry… \r Tried Lil Coopers town for the first for a quick take-out sandwich. Upon check out I learned I left wallet at home. I asked if I could come back in the morning to pay and I would make it worth their while. They said no. I did not want to stiff them so I drove home and returned to fulfill my obligation. \r I wonder what would of happen if I ate the meal there… they probably would of called the police and had me arrested.… Granted, they had every right to ask for payment. I’ll give them that but this is no way to run a neighborhood bar & grill that ries to market themselves a local guy. I bet Sharies would of traeated this diferiently. This is not a customer friendly place. Needless to say I would not go back. And I will spread the word of this experience. \r Pros: Nice Decorations Cons: Very Poor Service more

Best Happy Hour & Coldest Beer 10/6/2008

Best place to watch Monday night football. Check out the happy hour and game night specials (appetizers half off). The chicken ranch wrap and sloppy joe were killer. Sit at the bar and watch the bartenders concoct the most luscious drinks. I haven't seen a margarita made like they do here since I was in Mexico. They crush the lime & orange slices in a glass and then pour in the liquor, shake, strain into another glass with ice and top off with more tequila. I'll have to try one of those next time. Pros: Great sports bar w/ lots of screens, creative drinks Cons: Gets a bit cool sitting under the AC vent more

wonderful service 8/26/2008

I was reading the other review on Lil Cooperstown and thought she may be talking about another restaurant. This is my First review on Citysearch. I have been in the service industry for 10 years. My husband and I fell in love with Lil Cooperstown! We have been going there since it opened. We take the family and our friends there about twice a month. My favorite salad there is the black and blue steak salad. My husband loves the buffolo wings and burgers! The bar is our favorite area in the restaurant. Great adult atmosphere, sports on multiple big screens, wonderful happy hour menu and prices! The bartenders are friendly and they know the menu very well. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE in the bar and in the dinning room. They have color pages and crayons for the kids. Cooperstown has one of the largest kids menus I have seen. We have a 7 year old and a 6 year old they love to eat there. This is a great family owned restaurant. We have even taken a trip to the Hillsboro location and gotten the same great food and great service there as well. We dont go on sunday morning because there is sometimes a long wait. Other then that my husbnd and I recommend trying Lil Cooperstown out! Pros: Service, great food Cons: parking more

Good for families, food decent, service poor 5/15/2008

I really liked my dinner (steak wrap), but my husband did not (he just had a hamburger). The atmosphere is great for families. We have a two year old and only go out if we have to. I would not take a date here -- this is definitely for parents with kids. Although there is not much for the kids to play with , there is lots of sports memorabilia on the walls to keep them busy looking at things. The service was horrible. All of their wait staff seem to be 16-18 years of age. The waitress placed our dinner on the table and then asked if we wanted dessert. Typically, I would like to start eating my main course before I decide on a dessert. It was like her shift was over so she was trying to finish our tab so she could get out of there. I would go there again...not to sure about my husband, though. Pros: good for kids - it is loud so you don't have to worry about your kids too much, cute sports theme Cons: it is loud, not good for dates, -young, unexperienced staff more
