Lil' Anthony's Pizza

I would love to tell you that I recommend Lil Anthonys Pizza in Minneola but I can not. I will unfold the story for you: I called for a large pizza to be delivered to my home (approx 1 Mile away). I ordered around 8:45 pm. When the pizza arrived I was in for a shock. To start off the delivery man parked his car IN MY YARD, approximately 15 feet from my door. When the pizza was brought in by my wife, the box had been smashed to where the cheese was stuck to the lid of the box. Also there was an oil or grease on top of the box, enough that you could have taken a spoon and retrieved the oil from the box. The pizza arrived around 9:30 pm. When I saw the pizza, I called Lil Anthonys and respectfully asked to have another pizza made and to please not send the same delivery guy. The pizza arrived 30 minutes later. Mind you that we paid full price and never asked for a discount for our troubles.\r Here is the kicker. I had some guest at my house the following week, I called to order a pizza for delivery and was told that they do not deliver to this area. I told them that they had delivered a pizza last week and I was 1 mile away. The lady finally said that there was an incident and that we were no longer able to have deliveries made to our location. I went to the store and asked for a manager. After 20 minutes of waiting for him, he told me that the OWNER said that in her 15 years of owning a restaurant she has never seen a customer smash a pizza box like that and that our business was no longer welcome. The manager swore to me that it was an accident about the driver in my yard. I told him that common sense would say that when you step out of the vehicle being 15 ft from the door and step in grass, maybe you should move the car before the owner see's you in his yard and why would I send a pizza back at 9:30 and wait 1/2 hour for a new one with a five yr old waiting to eat. i have tried all other pizza's in town. nothing compares to lil anthonys pizza. thats why i understand they are rated number one. great services, friendly atmosphere. there sould be no reason anyone should have anything bad to say about them. This is really awesome pizza. I'm picky about pizza. I don't want it too dry, too boring, too much/too little sauce, etc. Lil Anthony's is the only place I'll order from any more. We have a nicer staff, a wider selection of food, a full bar, an asome family atmospher and we take reservations. We have a privet party room that can hold uo to 45 people and we have catering avalible for any event. I try to get to Lil Anthony;s at least once a week. I have tried the pizza and the italian food and have never been disappointed. Their meatballs are the best ever. I enjoy this place very much and love the food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been to Lil Anthony's several times.Actually about twice a week . I must say that I receive some of the best service and food here. The ambience is wonderful and the staff has always been willing to go that "" extra mile"" for our satisfaction. I have also eaten at a couple of the lil Anthony's in Orlando but the one in Minneola has it all . hands down one of the nicest places to sit comfortably ,eat good food, and have a great time with friends. more

I have been to Lil Anthony's in Minneola about five times now. The first time was a take out and they left an item off. The second and third times were very good with plenty of pizza toppings. The fourth time there were still plenty of toppings, but where the sauce and crust come together, there was a grainey texture. This last time, and I do mean LAST TIME, the pizza was very sparce. There were hardly any toppings on it, including the cheese. When this was pointed out to the waitress and then management, they were less than concerned or sympthetic. We got the excuse that there was a new person making the pizza and they would work on it. They took off the price of one topping for this. Where is the customer service? I won't be going back again. YUCK!!! more

Perfect pizza and food, great friendly service. Price is right and portions are more than enough. Pizza is even better than most places in New York! Tables are deep shadow box's themed to Sports, Movies, etc. Fun for the whole family. If you call in for an order they are on the money with how long it will take. Parking was not a problem on a Sat. night and the service was out of this world. Very friendly staff and eager to please their coustomers. I would definetly give this a 10 out od a possible 10. Great location, easy to get to from Clermont, Groveland, Oakland, Etc. About 5 min from HWY 50 on HWY 27 1 mile or so past the Citrus Tower. I used to drive 35 miles into orlando to get good pizza.. now i dont have to! This place rocks!! The staff is wonderful... fun place to visit. You are made to feel like family and they are quick to correct anything that you may feel is wrong. The antipasto salad I had was the best ever. And the pizza was great. The small building and tiny parking lot makes dining in a sometimes unpleasant experience. (Not to mention the idiots who insist on conversing on their Nextel/two way radios with the volume cranked up!) The service is okay considering the crowds they have to manage. The place is wonderful! The food is great and the restaurant is beautiful! The way it is decorated makes you want to come back every night to be able to sit at the different themes each table has.
