Lifetime Dentistry

I'm in love with the staff here. I'm 25 years old and this has been my first experience with dentists and I can honestly say that they made me feel right at home. I have yet to meet someone there that I don't like. Dr. George is friendly and very meticulous, which I greatly appreciate. I have noticed that they're a bit more expensive (on a few services) than some, but not by enough for me to want to go somewhere else. The entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and ready to answer any questions I have. I greatly recommend Dr. George's practice. more

Dr. Renu told me I needed 6 fillings-never had a cavity in my life. She also didn't numb me properly, told her I needed more numbing medication, she just told me to hang in there. I had the worst experience of my entire life. They were rude, uncaring and unproffessional. I had 5 filled there, they overcharge. I didn't fill the other cavity, went and got a second opinion. I DON'T even have a cavity. She lied to me. PLEASE do not go there. I'm taking action more

Steer clear. They overcharge, didn't remove the decay completely, insulted my smile numerous times, used curse words, equipment wasn't kept sterile during uses, and didn't care that I was in pain. Please do not go there. more

I will never visit this dentist again, first of all they are very expensive, secondly, I was supposed to have four fillings , they did not give numb my gums enough I was was feeling the drill so they had to give me another shot. I went back trusting they would not repeat this for the other two fillings and guest what happen they repeated the same steps the dentist told me I don't understand how you are feeling this I numb you twice, well;; if you were not trying to save money and cut cost to benefit you I would have probably gotten numb the first time. They told me I need valum ( I suppose I am spelling that correctly) so they had to reschedule me for my fourth feeling a, I take off work, drive all the way to St. Charles to be there promptly at 4, they did not give me any instructions the valum had not been ordered and then they tell me I have to reschedule,. Woman, please give me my entire families x-rays we will never come here again and would not recommend this dentist. THUMBS DOWN! more

Terrible experience! I chose Lifetime Dentistry because it was on my insurance list and I called and specifically asked if they were set up for, and were patient with children. They assured me they were fine with children. more

My 7 year old granddaughter had the unfortunate experience of being a patient of Dr. Renu George.She is not at all good with kids,at least she wasn't for my granddaughter,very impatient and short with her,didn't even try to calm her anxiety and was just plain rude to my daughter. That's the least of it.She led my daughterr to believe that my granddaughter had 4 cavities that needed filling and that she needed a root canal! We took her to a different dentist for a second opinion and her teeth are fine,she has NO cavities and DOES NOT need a root canal,this after she drilled into my granddaughters tooth and inserted a temp filling and refered her to another dentist that does root canals.Like we'd use anyone she refered us to! This woman's practice is one big scam,very shady and deceptive, and how she could do something like that to anyone,let alone a child,is beyond me.For whatever good it will do,a complaint will be filed against her and the insurance company will be informed that she tried to commit unsurance fraud.Anyone consider using Dr George at Lifetime Dentistry,BEWARE!! more

I selected Lifetime Dentistry because it was close enough to my home. The only thing I was not able to do was look up to see if there were any negative reviews on her provider profile (I'm in health insurance so i have that type of information). They seemed very nice. Took good care of my daughter and son. However when it came to me and my hubby...that was a different story. I hadn't had a dentist visit in about 2 years. I was also pregnant. So while I was in the dentist chair waiting for the hygienist to give me my cleaning, the receptionist walks in and wants to discuss payment options! I was presented with 2 different treatment plans with estimates being over 3,000. I was flabbergasted. I was also told I could get a loan to help pay for this. The last time this type of payment arrangement ever graced my ears was because the Massachusetts State Attorney closed down a similar practice with the same type of business model. I asked for a breakdown of the codes and proceeded to negotiate with my Medical, Dental and Pharmacy how to pay for these services. The biggest tag item was for a particular antibiotic that the office claimed my dental policy would not cover. Confirmed with my dental plan, however it was covered under my pharmacy if i could get a prescription for it. Walgreens agreed to fill the prescription. So i presented a working treatment plan with everything that the office wanted to do to me, but it would covered by my insurance policies at 80%. The office said no. So i said no thanks, your not working on me. Good thing i said that. Went to a new dentist 2 months ago. They took xrays and said other than me needing a cleaning...my teeth were healthy. I think i should send this to the fraud department of Delta Dental just because I can. more

This is by far, the best dentist I've ever been to. I was greeted immediately by very nice receptionists. The dental hygienist was very, very knswledgable and very sweet. She took a lot of x-rays and photos and explained what she was doing every step of the way. Dr. George was very nice and helpful as well. I'd highly recommend this office to anyone in the saint louis area. more
