Worst finance company I ever delt with more

I think they're extremely helpful. I know that I'm having to go to them because my credit is horrible, but the fact is that they're willing to help me and all of you out when no one else is. I see a lot of negative remarks but most of them won't admit that they were turned down by everyone else because they have horrible credit and/or horrible paying history. In this economy finding ANYONE willing to help you out when you're down is hard, finding this company is one of the best things to happen to me. more

THIS COMPANY IS TRULY THE WORST , I FINANCED MY CAR BACK IN APRIL THROUGH THEM, THIS IS THE FIRST COMPANY I KNOW OF THAT WONT ALLOW GRACE PERIODS , IF YOUR PAYMENT IS NOT IN THE DAY ITS DUE THE NEXT DAY THEY ARE CALLING RIGHT AFTER LUNCH ""BECAUSE THEY RECEIVE THEIR MAIL IN THE MORNING"" THEY DON'T ALLOW PARTIAL PAYMENTS : WHAT KIND OF WHACK NONSENSE IS THAT SO THEY RATHER TAKE YOUR CAR THEN TAKE SOME MONEY AND WORK WITH YOU ON THE REMAINING BAL, THEY ARE RUDE BEYOND BELIEF ..AT ONE POINT LAST Y I WAS UNEMPLOYED AND ""JAMES"" KEPT CALLING CALLING FROM DIFFERENT NUMBERS BLOCKED UNBLOCKED FINALLY I ANSWERED ONE OF THE CALLS AND I EXPLAINED THE SITUATION THIS RUDE ASS HAS THE NERVE TO TELL ME THAT ,YOU HAVE NEGLECTED YOUR OBLIGATION AND IT SOUND LIKE I CANT AFFORD THE CAR AND NEED TO GIVE IT BACK !!!??? WHAT ??? WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TO EVEN TALK TO ME LIKE THAT , AND JUDGE ME !!ITS NOT LIKE IM SITTING ON MY ASS NOT DOING ANYTHING.. THEY ARE INCONSIDERATE AND UNPROFESSIONAL THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD THEY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR THE ONLY ACCOUNT THAT IS BEHIND AND YOU OWE THEM THOUSANDS ..(WELL IN A SENSE YES YOU DO OWE THOUSANDS BUT ITS NOT DUE ALL AT ONCE) THEY NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT THESE ARE HARD TIMES AND THEY ARE GETTING HARDER SO HARRSING PPL ON THE PHONE WONT MAKE A DIFFERENCE, IF YOU CALL ME A 9AM WHAT MAKES YOU THINK IM GONNA HAVE THE MONEY BY 12 OR BY 3 LIKE REALLY ??? THEY ARE ANNOYING , DISRESPECTFUL , LACK OF EDUCATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING . I CAN WAIT TO BE DONE WITH THEM AND WHEN I AM I WILL BE SENDING A VERY LENGTHY OPINIONATED LETTER ! more

My mother had a house firer years ago now. Under insured and only two payments left on her house and would have been paid off. she mad the mistake of talking to the nice man from Liberal Finance. We don't do mortgages but we are going to help you because they felt bad for her. we can get you money fast we are here to help you build you'r house. What she didn't understand at the time was how a 18 month bloom work's and was not explained in full. Read everything in full they are not you'r friend and they are not looking out for you. It's refinance every 18 months if you can,t pay in full and what you pay never comes off the loan and end up owing more at the end of every month soon use up the equity in the home and then you can,t get a bank mortgage. IT took them a couple of years to get away from them and only because the house market shot up witch made their house worth more and finally able to get a bank mortgage if not Liberal would have ended up with their home. even tho at their age they owe so much more now they could never own their home and one day not be able to make their payments anymore. BUT a least Liberal didn't get it. A lawyer told us they walk a fine line of what they can get away with and they know how to do it with out bracken the law . I know my mother is at fault to for not reading and understanding the in and out's of the loan. READ EVERYTHING AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THEY ARE NOT YOU'R FRIEND! more

watch out for them..they will take your payment out of your acct. and not tell you...very rude and disrespectful this company is.not happy with them at all more

I have a bit of an unusual experience. My Vehicle caught fire and was deemed a manufactur malfunction. The great people at Liberal Finance will be moving me into another vehicle. more

I financed my truck in 2007. I too went to a local dealer, but the only difference was that I NEVER HAD A LOAN/CREDIT CARD IN MY LIFE!!!! At the time, I had ok credit but not very good. When the salesman told me about them he made them sound as if by dealing with these guys my credit score would jump up and I could then refinance so that my monthly payment would not be so high! Anxious to get a car...I did it! A year later I had to have an emergency surgery which took me out of work for 8 weeks. I called to notified my ""rep"" and WOW were they not only rude but very unprofessional. They didnt want to work anything out...all they wanted was my truck! Then my ""rep"" called about 10 times a day from different numbers with the same ""Tell us where the car is so we could pick it up!"" As much as I wanted to return the car and NEVER hear from them again, I was afraid of lowering my credit score(which by the way went up 20months later).They wont refinance yet they""ve made my 36mo payment into 48 without advising me. I dont recommend them to friends family or strangers.... more

I FINANCED MY CAR BACK IN 2000. I WENT TO A LOCAL CAR DEALER WHO PREFERED TO USE THIS BANK. ( WATEVER IT IS) I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT BECAUSE THE SALESMAN WHO SOLD ME THE CAR LATER ON GOT FIRED FOR ""GETTING OVER"". LONG STORY SHORT. MY CAR HAD GOTTEN TOTALED BY A STOLEN CAR IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE.....I REPORTED IT TO ""LIBERAL"" AND ALSO MY INSURANCE COMPANY. THE INSURANCE COMPANY PAID WHAT THE TOTALED DAMAGE WAS TO ""LIBERAL"". OK SO NOW THATS DONE I'M THINKING OK HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO GET AROUND I HAVE 2 CHILDREN 1 NEW BORN AND A 5YR OLD. AFTER THE INSURANCE CO. PAID THEM THE MONEY I STARTED RECIEVING PHONE CALLS OUT THE A$$....""YOU STILL OWE A BALANCE ON YOUR CAR AND ITS VERY URGENT THAT YOU GET US THIS MONEY OR WE WILL HAVE TO FILE SUIT AGAINST YOU AND WE'LL START GARNISHING YOUR PAY CHECK......ETC!!! I HAVE TO SAY THAT WE STARTED OFF REALLY GREAT WITH THEM! CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT! THEN WE HAD A REAL FLUT START CALLING US. HE CALLED ABOUT 10 TIMES AFTER I TALK TO HIM. I FINALLY CALLED THE OFFICE TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON AND THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD TALK TO HIM. IF I KNEW I AS GOING TO BE LATE ON MY PAYMENT I WOULD CALL THEM RIGHT AWAY AND LET THEM KNOW MY PROBLEMS. CUSTOMER SERVICES WAS GREAT. MY HUSBAND WAS OUT OF WORK FOR 2 WEEKS AND WE DID NOT RECEIVE A PAY CHECK FOR THAT TIME. I CALLED THEM RIGHT AWAY TO TELL THEM WHAT WAS GOING ON. (DEBRA) TOLD ME THAT IF THE PAYMENT WAS NOT RECEIVED BY 4:00 THAT DAY THE CAR WAS GOING TO BE TAKEN FROM US! SHE DIDN'T WANT TO HERE ANYTHING ELSE. I MADE THE PAYMENT THAT DAY. I CALLED THE OFFICE TO GIVE THEM THE CONFIRMATION NUMBER AND THEY WOULD NOT LET ME TALK TO DEBRA AND THEY WERE YELLING AT EACH OTHER WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE. I FINALLY TOLD WHO EVER I TALK TO THAT I WANTED TO BE CONNECTED TO DEBRA'S VOICE MAIL SO I CAN LEAVE A MESSAGE. more

In a nutshell, the customer service is horrendous. The extremely rude and unprofessional staff are clueless as to proper customer service skills. They speak over you, they harass you for barely late pmts, they hang up on if if they are not able to run their mouths, and if their ""methods"" do not work, they resort to making threats. We voluntarily surrendered our vehicle (lemon) after 3 yrs perfect ontime pmts, we were given a ridiculous hard time and when the tow truck man came to get the car he told us that the Liberal Finance Rep ""DEBRA MOSES"" told him he needs to snatch and grab it because my husband was going to be a d**k. Real professional DEBRA! After a half hour of speaking to us the tow truck guy put together that it is actually Liberal FInance that has a staff problem. more

I was sorta skeptical at first thinking that because of my credit issues, they would send me to one of those ""last resort repo hungry"" companies. Plus this was my first time financing. I was really surprised by the customer service. I ran into a couple glitches but they were worked out. The only time I got more than a courtesy call was when I was LATE for my scheduled payment. The way I see it, if you know you owe, you can't be shocked when they call. I'm sure they don't offer as many perks as the banks do with extensions and all but that's all the more reason to get your credit together so you can finance with whomever you like. Bottom line, until I can refinance to get a better interest rate they are the best thing since sliced bread!! Pros: They are understanding as long as you don't push your luck Cons: I have had 4 different reps in only 1 year more

Everyone knows december is a tough month for bills and such we try our best to stretch every dollar for our loved one or kids and sometimes times we are so caught up in the holidays we overlook things but trust and believe your car note will not be one of them i was 2 days late with my payment and this company began callin my home my work my mobile phone they were leaving messages everywhere they even called the people i listed for refrences seems like they are in desperate need of money if you ask me i was even threatened with a possible repossesion ironically my husband has a vehicle financed thru a diffrent lender (thrift investments) and they didnt harrass him half as much he explained his monetary situation and they gave him an extension i wish i could transfer my loan over not because i was delinquent with my account by a week or too (let me add my 1st time) but because the calls were riduculous Cons: the phone or messages wont stop til you pay something..... more

Ok we all know how hard times are financially, and for me it's been no different. I can say that I am lucky enough to have financed through Liberal Finance Services months ago. I must admit, they are understanding and patient with their clients which is something rarely seen today once an account is late or past due. Of course just like any other institution they must make calls and try and collect but all in all their employees are far from heartless. Pros: They will work with you within reason. Cons: Do Not expect the phone to stop ringing though. LOL! more
