Just had my Mandy put down and they made it as painless as possible. They explained everything out as they went and she went painless. I can't thank them enough more

I've used every vet in town and this one is my favorite. Appointments are always on time, and I can get grooming on-site. My cats both act up at the vet's, and the staff is always prepared and willing to work with me. They patiently showed me the proper way to do ear cleaning so I could be confident in my ability to do the home care. Options and costs are always spelled out clearly and in advance. more

I was denied 1 wormer pill for my cat today because I had not brought him to see the vet in over a year. Why? Because I lost my full time job in May 2009. All I needed was 1 pill worth $9 to get rid of his worms but couldn't afford the $100+ to be "seen". So, instead of selling me the 1 pill to cure my cat's only problem they let me walk without it. \r I have been going to this clinic for all of my pets for as long as I can remember, but, \r I will never do business with Lewiston Vet Hospital again and will recommend the same to all of my pet loving friends. more

I have been going to this vet hospital for over 20 years, and will never go anywhere else. Their service is excellent and they are always willing to take the time to answer my questions and help in any way they can. more

I went to one other vet clinic in Lewiston which I found VERY incompetant, so when I hopefully arrived at the Lewiston Veterinary Hospital and returned for follow up visits, it was like a breath of fresh air!!!!\r \r I get wonderful service with each visit and the staff is extremely caring. I have 4 cats (one of which is diabetic).\r \r I highly recommend this vet. more

My dog has been visiting there since he was born. He loves going there....when I told him...we're going to the hospital - he knows that we are going to Lewiston Vet. He used to spend a week there when we were on vacation and they really look after him well. The staff is great and the turn out time is really good. more

Dr. Chaplin at Lewiston Vet Hospital is amazing! The care and attention he gives each and every pet is comforting for the owner. I've brought all my animals to him and he's provided excellent care and service! His staff is friendly, they are willing to help you with compassion and great skill! I would recommend Lewiston Vet Hospital, especially Dr.Chaplin to anyone who loves their animals enough to seek a highly qualified Vet. Dr. Chaplin is willing to go above and beyond what most vets would give up on in the first meeting, not only has he cared for my animals, I truly feel he's become apart of my animal family, he's been there through the ups and downs and with each bump in the road he's never turned away or gave up hope on any of us. No matter what problem that arises in my animals health, I run to him for advice, never once did he or his staff turn away a silly question I had or get upset with my over-protectiveness. When my animals had to stay due to illness or surgery I was encouraged to call as much as I needed for my own comfort just to check in.
