Les Schwab Tire Ctr

I have done business for YEARS with Les Schwab Tires in St Johns. I have had breaks done on the front several times and rear brakes done, new rotors the last time around, and front end work done. I have bought tires a couple of times also. We have had work and tires done on the other cars in the family also. I am actually paying for work on a credit plan right to this day. My payments are ALWAYS on time. The last time I bought tires I had to go to Firestone because I had to leave town on a emergency and Les Schwab was booked up for hours. But I had planned to come back to Les Schwab for tires in the future and still had for other car. Any way Our family has done business for years with the North Portland Les Schwab. Last evening I had a flat tire and of course came to North Portland Les Schwab for repair. They were not friendly and actually rude. They told me because I did not purchase the tires the last time from them that I would be charged $13.50 for the repair, and tried to tell me that I needed to repair another time at the same time for a cost of $27.00. I was shocked! at their attitude. The man at the counter said oh well! I paid for just the one tire and WILL NOT DO ANY MORE BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER AGAIN!!! I will pay my payments to them over the phone. Was it worth $13.50 to lose a long time good paying customer. When my tire repair was finished I ask for my keys, they said ""the keys are in your car"". I went outside and the car was on the jacks in a lowered position, and the keys were hanging from my driver side door. I did get off of the jacks but it was difficult. I guess I was being punished. more

I have been to this location twice in the last two weeks. The first time i had a flat tire and as soon as i parked they were asking me what they could help me with & after checking my tire they informed me that they found a nail and repaired the tire with no charge to me! Not only were they fast, efficiant & friendly they were also very professional & went out of their way to get me on my way! I returned just this week for a 6 point inspection & my service was excellent all over again, thank-you you guys/gals ROCK! more

Nevermind the whining nay sayer who wants a piggy back ride from their car to the front desk; this place is definitely worth my business. Got 4 new tires, a 4 wheel alignment, and a rear control arm that I had to wait a couple of days for. I was called and informed about the control arm needing to be replaced-which wasn't expected, but was fine. Time frame of getting the control arm in and having all of the work done was quoted right on to what was delivered. The contents of my trunk were just how I had them before it was entered into for the swap of a wheel and tire. I was called as soon as the job was finished, and notified of a couple of things seen on the way through the job that need attention. I would most certainly bring my car there again, as I felt respected from start to finish. Pros: Fast, communicative, and respectful Cons: They still charge, heh heh more

I have been to this Les Schwab several times and NEVER was greated at my car or anywhere near my car. Once I entered the building and stood in line, I was greeted. In addition the wait times have always been at LEAST an hour or longer. Luckily I went to different Les Schwab to have my tires rotated in Lake Oswego! They came out to my car and were happy to see me. I found my tires were going bald and bought new ones from them! I waited less then a half hour there! Cons: No greetings like seen on the ads and long waits to get things done. more
