Legacy Toyota Tallahassee

last april my husband and i took a trip to miami. while driving on the turnpike after dark we hit a semi-truck tire tread that we were unable to see until it was to late. fortunatly the damage was only to the bumber and the underbumper panel. car was still drivable and we were able to finish our trip. Upon our return home i had already notified the insurance company and told them i wanted to take the car to the dealership's repair shop for the work. So I called and scheduled an appointment. They were great they took care of everything and gave me a ride to work. The did all the work in just 2 days and my car looked just like when i had bought it 8 months prior. Could not tell where the damage had been. They made the trauma of having my new car damaged easier to take. I definetly recommend them for any body work you may need. more

Me and my fiance recently purchased a 2006 Chevy Cobalt from this dealership. While test drving the car it sputtered. Excuses were made and the saleman said that they fixed the problem. We then took the car home. Four days after purchasing the vehicle the car was sputtering so bad we could not drive it to a mechanic to see what the problem may be. Legacy decided to get the car towed from our hometown (Bainbridge, GA) to Tallahassee so that they could diagnose the problem. We had a verbal agreement and that was: "" As long as we did not cause the problem with the car, they would fix it."" After 3 business days and numerous unreturned phone calls we went and got the car, still not running. They took back their word and said it was not their fault it happended. They offered to fix the car and us pay but they wanted almost $500 for what we could fix for $200. Not to mention the dirty deeds they pulled on us but the service was horrible and obviously the cars aren't reliable. more

After agreeing to a deal with this dealership in writing, they did not honor the deal. Their finance manager wanted to rewrite the deal, and was TOTALLY OBNOXIOUS and DISPARAGING towards my wife and myself. I have never seen so much rudeness in my life. I have also never seen a dealership allow one of their employees to ""brow beat"" the customer, and then be rude beyond belief. THIS DEALERSHIP IS DISREPUTABLE - and their employees lack common courtesy and any specter of honor. I suggest you drive up to Georgia and buy your vehicle there instead of at Legacy. By the way, I was quoted hundreds less in Georgia on the same car - and was treated like a valued customer. Rude is not a way to go through life, although it seems to fit how the finance person in Tallahassee behaves. more

Bought a Lexus - mistake was to pay cash and TRUST the dealership would honor the salesman promise to touch-up the paint niks - After we took possesion of the car - the dealership was totally dismissive and absolutely dishonorable from the owner (les) on down - TOTALLY & absolutely dishonest - Buyer beware go to Thomasville - where you'll find great service with great customer relations. more

Besides not explaining charges, own employee confessed to pressure to add charges beyond what is legitimate. This allegation is credible because every time I've had my vehicle seen there, the focus has been on charges/payment rather than service. No more business from me. more

I overlooked the fact that they had pushy salesman and bought the car anyway. The service department is absolutely horrible. They do not know how to patch a flat tire. I made 3 trips there before it was finally fixed correctly. They would rather lose a customer and refund my thousand dollar service warranty than replace a $50 tire. I will never go back there. more
