Larry H. Miller and Team USAA have partnered up to provide an internet auto purchasing experience that is easy to use and extremely secure. While deployed to Basra, Iraq I finally found the F-350 of my dreams. USAA's car buying service pointed me to Larry H. Miller Ford in Salt Lake City who had exactly the truck I was looking for at a great price. USAA is an extremely great bank and deals only with the most reputable on behalf of its members. I knew LHM Ford had to be good if USAA was pointing me in their direction. What I found however exceeded my expectations. I worked with Will Shields in their internet sales department. He got me going right away making the system of buying a truck as painless as possible - answering my questions and responding immediately to my emails - many of which were well after normal duty hours. When it came time to "do the paperwork" I was very pleased at the systems Larry H. Miller already had in place to protect my identity. Anyone who is at all interested in protecting their identity is also interested in supporting businesses who do the same - lets face it folks - if a business is haphazardly handling your personal information you run a very large risk in doing business with them. Very simple procedures and tiny amount of effort on my part made me feel even more confident in the purchasing process. Better still, Will was very familiar with the USAA Auto Circle program for their members and pointed out additional items I get a discount on just for being a USAA customer. I was able to add some normally expensive items at a really great price. Finally, Larry H. Miller Ford delivered my truck 200+ miles away to my Dad's house so he could watch it for me while I finish the remainder of my tour of duty. Really a great experience I'd recommend for anyone who wants to buy an automobile and can't find on in their home town. I came to your lot based on previous purchase experience and it was wonderful to meet someone like Nate. He really made us feel welcomed and I never felt rushed.... I just wish there would have been some snacks available as our purchase ran over into our typical dinner time. But I am thoroughly pleased with the sale part of our purchase. To be honest when dealing with LHM Ford if you go in knowing how to play the game you will get a good deal. Expect their Used cars to be at least 3K high. When dealing with them find out the retail price on nada.org and Edmunds.com to get an accurate price for the vehicle you are buying. You can get that price with a little work. The service side has been a good so far. If you are close on price ask for something from service like backup sensors or spoilers. They are willing to throw that stuff in. more
