Everyone is Welcome 3/22/2007

I have been to the Larchmont Grill twice and both times I thought it was great. They have great food without all of the great food attitude. It seems to be a local hang out since arriving diners stop to chit chat with fellow diners on their way to their table. This only made the experience that much more charming. Maybe if I go there enough times I will be doing the same thing. Whether you are dressed down in a collared shirt or coming from the office wearing a tie you will feel comfortable. Another attractive part is the bar which is small and intimate and has, if need, a TV to track "the game." Larchmont Grill should be thought of as a destination resturant and as the place to go when you can't think of where to go. more

Best burger in LA 3/21/2007

Finally, a new restaurant in Larchmont that is reasonably priced and the food is really outstanding. The friendly staff and the owners are very sweet and attentive. Last night my husband and I took my mom who was in town to dinner there. Our waitress was incredible and very well versed in their wine selections. We dine at some of the best restaurants in LA and dinner last night was one of the best I have had in LA at The Larchmont Grill. They have wonderful wines by the glass too. Finally, a new restaurant in Larchmont that is reasonably priced and the food is really outstanding. The friendly staff and the owners are very sweet and attentive. A very pleasant relaxed evening 3/21/2007

Very comfortable, ""country-house"" with a fireplace and small bar inside. Food is well-executed American food. We had an upscale mac& cheese followed by a large Pork Chop and a ""BLT"" salad with a filet. Wine list is smallish but very reasonable and as it was a Tuesday, wines were half price. Pineapple upside down cake was excellent. Service slowed down as the place got crowded but overall a very pleasant, comfortable environment with excellent food at very reasonable prices. Pros: Parking, Good Value, Excellent Food Cons: Service can lag more
