What the US Post Office will never be 3/9/2006

Lake Union Mail has a great small town feel to it. It's not a place where the owners are just trying to process as many customers as possible. Take your time to peruse the store and check things out. The staff is very friendly whether you're just dropping off a letter or have a big package to send. The first time I went there they actually refused to sell me the standard American flag stamps. I needed to look through the collection. This turned out to be a great call on their part. The selection at the USPS pales in comparison to what Lake Union Mail has available. I went with the John Wayne stamps. I felt if anyone could make certain my mail arrived safe and sound it was going to be John Wayne. more

Lovely Stamp Collection 11/15/2005

Living in the Eastlake neighborhood is quite a luxury. I throughly enjoy visiting the friendly staff in Lake Union Mail and when I have a letter or package to send it is quite simple to send it through Lake Union Mail. And they have a great variety of stamps, my favorite is John Wayne. more

Abundant Penny Jar!!!! 11/11/2005

This shop is so friendly and fun. They have the fullest penny jar I've ever seen! They have a great neighborhood feeling, especially with Louisa's next door, so you have amazing neighbors and smells right there. more

Instantly know the best service for the best price 8/20/2005

Lake Union Mail feels like it’s in a time-warp. It truly is the great American neighborhood store where the people are friendly and completely know their stuff. If you’re sending a package, drop in during the daytime when the owner is there—off the top of his head he knows the best service to use at the absolute best price after seeing and weighing the package. Amazing knowledge and no pandering to one specific shipping service like at a national chain. more
