La Petite Academy

My 6 yr old daughter has been going there since she was 6 months. There has been very little turnover in the exceptional staff of caring loving individuals. I love all of their patience, structure and nurturing ways. We have moved into Kindergarden in another city but visit now and again. I would recommend this spot for your kids to spend their time too. My son has gone to this school for 5 years now and loves everybody. Every teacher knows the children by name, even if they aren't or have never been in the classroom with them, the staff is friendly when I walk in to either pick up or drop off, the rooms are clean. Most of the staff, including the director, has been at that daycare the entire time my son has gone, which is refreshing so there aren't a cycle of new faces for him to learn. I've even dropped in unannounced to *catch* my son and the teachers, and he is always engaged in something, be it activities or just free playing with his friends. \r I've recommended this to many people I know, and will continue to do so. With another one on the way, I have no hesitation knowing they will get taken care of correctly. more

I toured the center and was very impressed by the longetivity of the teachers and how friendly they were. Every classroom I walked through the teachers acknowledged my children and myself. The children were all engaged in curriculum activities and everyone seemed quite happy to be there. The teachers even asked if my children would like to join in on the activities. My children fit right in.\r The building was very clean and organized.\r I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in on the tour. The director gave me all of her attention and the tour lasted 45 minutes. \r I like how each classroom has curriculum and the free choice. I would reccommend this center to anyone. more

I visited this location when I was looking for childcare for my 9 month old child. I made an appointment after hearing good things about the facility. Upon my arrival, the director seem stressed and was rushing me along the tour. When I entered the Infant room, one of the teachers rolled her eyes at me and had a look on her face that said "great, one more child" I was in the room for almost 30 mins and the teachers were content in letting one little girl cry the whole time. She was hungry but there were only 2 high chairs, so she had to wait until someone else was done eating so that she could eat. I ran out of there in tears and gave a second thought to returning to work more
