I just had an amazing Therapeutic Massage done at LaBelle Days Spas and Salon and it was an amazing experience. I will definitely return again for another massage. I am so happy t...

Worst

I scheduled a waxing - lower leg only. I was put in a small room (only large enough for one person to stand) while the woman told me to undress - she did not leave the room, very ...

Nice spa but SPEAK UP. Have two long bruise strips and broken capillaries for $80. 3/19/2008

I went into LaBelle for a quick leg waxing, not to enjoy a day at the spa, which sounds great from all accounts. It's well-appointed and the rooms are very private. The aesthetician began to wax using a hot roller-style device rather than the liquid. I noticed that it was either not warm enough or was stuck so that the roller strip would not rotate when applied against the skin, very painfully pulling the skin along with it. I asked if it needed to be heated more or if it was conventional to use this, but she said it was easier to use and to clean up. My mistake was in not being much more insistent that she switch to the liquid wax. She didn't test the roller prior to application to make sure wax was flowing and also used a surprisingly aggressive motion to apply it, so the overall effect was rather to "pull and rip" down the skin each couple first strokes. Needless to say, when I jumped off in pain (not from the waxing which was fine but from the aggressive pulling), she switched to the other wax, which in my opinion should have been done right away. But- what can you say when you mention it's uncomfortable and they respond that it is conventional and keep on going?? Of course, had i known, I would have yelled rather loudly to switch :) My thighs now have long strips of broken vessels along the paths of the roller applicator. Please be insistent if you notice that they are using this or any other device properly, ie, filling it up and heating it right so it works properly and not damaging your skin. I was surprised that more attention wasn't paid to the client's comfort, and also that the aesthetician would keep right on rolling when it was clear that wax was not coming out and I pointed out that it was painful. more

Worst treatment ever 11/10/2007

I have been to a LOT of spas and this was the gawdawful worst!!!! Had a brow/ lash tint and brow wax here. Woman was in and out of the room, total treatment time was less than 12 minutes. Tint lasted for less than a week. Called to complain twice, told it was "too late to complain" and manager ignored my second phone call. This used to be a high caliber salon (the Town and Country Location has MUCH better ambiance/service), but now they have lost the desire to give high quality care, but have kept the snotty attitude. Yick! more

great for makeup, bad for hair! 7/15/2007

My friend went to La Belle to have her hair and makeup done for her wedding day and she looked amazing, so I booked appointments here as well on my sister's wedding day. For us, the makeup was great, but the hair was terrible. They spent an hour blowing out my hair, but because the appointment hadn't been booked properly, they would not put my hair up, saying there was not enough time. I was disappointed that they could not be more accomodating. Moreover, I was not happy with the blowout and I had strands of hair sticking straight up above my head when they finished! I was shocked that they expected me to walk out this way. I ended up walking into a nearby salon, where within 20 minutes, they had rescued me and saved the day with a simple updo and taming all the flyaways. It was stressful, as we were pressed for time, but they were quick and did my hair perfectly so I could be happy and relaxed the rest of the day. My mother also had her hair done at La Belle and was almost in tears she was so unhappy with it. We brushed it out a little, and ultimately, it seemed pointless to have had made a hair appointment for her. My sister's hair was fine, but on the whole, I was extremely disappointed and will never go back to have my hair done. There are plenty of other salons who do much better work, and for much less money. more

Got the best cut/color from Nima 2/23/2007

I love Labelle. I enjoy their massges, but I didn't know they had a new salon until recently. Last time I got Nima. He gave a me fantastic layered look and got my reddish copper color just right. He also gave me some stylinging tips that actually work. It is a little pricy, but I think its better to get it done right the first time! more

The massage was awesome 2/2/2007

I've had a few massages there with different female therapists, and they were all great. I felt great and relaxed afterwards. more

Great for gift certificates and hair 7/25/2006

I started coming here for hair cuts upon a recommendation of a co worker. Since the staff was skilled and friendly and the decor high class, I decided to buy my wife a gift certificate for our anniversary for one of their packages. My wife loved it and said it was the best gift I've ever given her.. Pros: Location, Facilities, Knowledge Cons: Pricey but worth it! more

Great for some treatments- not all available 7/23/2006

I love the hair salon and facial treatments at LaBelle- they are hands down the best in the area. I do wish they would add more employees who do brazillian bikini waxes - one of their employees downright refused to do it and gave me a pretty disgusted look when I asked her for one. But it's usually a great spa! Pros: Great hair salon, facials Cons: pricey, not many aestheticians do brazillians more

The Best Facial I've ever had! 11/11/2005

I went into LaBelle with a girlfriend for facials for the first time and had an amazing service! I'm always worried about trying a new place for facials because I worry about breaking out or reacting to low quality products. Well, my service was great. I had the customized Royal Touch facial and left feeling relaxed, my skin felt super clean, and within a couple of days my skin looked great. My friend and I will definitely go back as this was a great opportunity for us to take care of ourselves and "hang out". Pros: ample parking, knowledge, products more

worst facial ever 10/9/2005

I'm addicted to facials--they feel good and make me look amazing. Unfortunately, the facial I got at LaBell in Palo Alto was sub-par at best. 1. The clinician was on super-sell mode. She left 3 differnt skin items at the counter for me--after I showed no interest--all of which were at least $35. 2. Pain! The extractions, exfoliation, and even moisturizing were downright unpleasant. Different products dripped into my eyes and mouth, and my hair was left coated with products. 3. My skin was blotchy and red for 2 days after (usually my skin looks radiant only 2-3 hours after.) The facial made me feel terrible and look the same. Cons: overpriced, terrible clinicians more
