Not trust worthy. He takes advantage of trusting consumers. I brought him my Honda civic to fix a problem with one of the power windows. I left him the car. He called back and said it has a defective power switch, and it will cost something around $320, including the switch for something like $137. After I got the car, I went to check the price of the switch, and found it casts $20-$30 for OEM (original equipment). I called him next day; his response was "" I fixed your car, what do you want?.\r \r Upon repeat requst from my side, he asked me to send him where I saw the price. I sent him 4-5 different places, all of them have the price $20-$30. He completely ignored me. He has the attitude that you have to pay him whatever he asked becasue ""He fixed it"". Don't go there. more

Ever hear of those old style mechanics who could listen to your engine for about 4 seconds and immediately know what the problem is? Kurt's the closest I've personally come across to that. It took him about 15 seconds to discover a leak in the air hose of my wife's car that would have taken another place $75 to maybe figure out through their machines. He was also able to get me a brand new transmission for my '99 Camaro Z-28 backed by a GM warranty for less than two other places wanted to charge for a rebuild with practically NO warranty. The bottom line is this. Every time I ever take a car to Kurt, the job gets done right. Sometimes, he's less expensive for the work performed, sometimes he's more expensive. However, he does what is necessary to fix the problem, nothing more, nothing less. Lastly, a more honest man, I don't think I evern met. When he gives an estimate, he sticks to it (unless the actual repair cost is less than he said). Kurt, you get the job done right, you're fairly priced, and an honest man. more

Kurt did a great job. I will definitely return if my vehicle needs auto service in the future. The service was done on time and I thought the price was fair. Pros: accomodating, fast service, fair price Cons: none more

Typically I perform all my own automotive servicing, but I had some water leaking on my car that needed attention and I couldn't find the source of the leak. Kurt was recommended to me by a friend who has used is services for many years. Kurt found the problem in no time. I know cars, the fix was going to be labor intensive and I didn't have time to fix this myself this time. The repair was quoted fairly. And the work was done on time and I though he did a quality job. Kurt seems to do all types of repair work so don't let the name "Kurt's Auto Electric & Repair" fool you. Pros: Smart Guy owns the shop, tried to get it right the first time. Cons: Doesn't have any employees at this time, so he can't scale his work force to meet demand more
