What's all the Hype About 4/10/2006

I have to admit, there is nothing quite better than a Krispy Kreme donut, right off the production line. However, if they are not "hot now", then they don't taste any better than the donuts I get at the Safeway bakery. I think they are over priced and pretty hyped up. I think it's funny that there were lines all around the building when the place opened up, but now, it seems like there is hardly every anyone there. On the plus side, my kids think they are getting a "factory tour" when they watch the donuts being made. • In Short
In 1937, Vernon Rudolph brought a secret recipe from a French chef to North Carolina, creating the infamous irresistible treat and starting a glazed doughnut revolution. These scrumptious doughy delights are brushed with a sugar coating, and have been know to cause even the most dedicated hard-bodies to temporarily abandon their diet. Evolving past the original glaze recipe, today customers can now choose from a variety of lip smacking treats, from apple fritter to New York cheesecake doughnuts. The international company still holds to its roots, providing welcoming and helpful service while perfecting its craft at making melt-in-your-mouth masterpieces.
