Install GFCI plugs and correct my attempt to "pig-tail" several switches 6/7/2011

David carefully and thoroughly explained the procedures and cautions while working with aluminum wiring. While woking on a ceilling heater, he found a melted wire that clearly couuld have burned the house down. more

Responsive and reasonable prices. 5/13/2011

I can't praise Kirkwood Electric enough. I've known them for probably 2 years, and I have used them half a dozen times to do miscellaneous wiring on my ceiling, new lights, and wall switches. David Kirkwood, the owner, is very responsive. His prices are also very reasonably, so I would recommend him. more

I just felt that the prices Kirkwood Electric offer were the most reasonable. Compared to other companies out there, this really was the best deal. David, the owner, came out to do the work himself and he was very professional and friendly. He worked quickly and efficiently. I'm keeping his card and will use him again in the future. more

Good experience 1/25/2011

This was my first time using Kirkwood Electric. They came over when they were supposed to and did a good job. They did a lot of things that most companies probably wouldn't do, like giving us advice, making recommendations, and showing us ways to save energy. That was very helpful and now I have the information so I won't continue bad practices using certain appliances. Some of the caps on our outlets had burned up because the original company that installed them had put the wrong caps on. Kirkwood Electric re-wrapped the wire and put the appropriate caps on. Everything is working fine now. They do a good job and get it done as quickly as they can. They also keep the work they've done in good condition. more

He is very dependable and does an excellent, thorough job. 1/20/2011

I have used David, with Kirkwood Electric, for several things. Lately he has done a major project. He redid my whole breaker box and also some of the old wiring in the house. David is so conscientious. I trust him impeccably. The quality of his work is very good. In the last couple of years he has done work for me, and it is always excellent. I don't have any trouble after he takes care of it, which hasn't been the case with other electricians. He is very careful in his work, and very thorough. He always checks out anything that might be related to what I asked him to see. He goes the extra step. I feel very comfortable leaving him in my house while he does work. more
