Friendly staff and superb doctors 11/11/2010

Doctors and staff are friendly, experts at what they do, and very efficient. We have been patients of KDA for more than 10 years and couldn't be happier with the care we have received. Because of their popularity, it can sometimes be difficult to get an appointment, but they always do their best to get us in as soon as they can. more

Very nice doctor but terrible staff 6/29/2010

I just went in today for a consultation and since it was my first time I needed to fill out some papers and I needed to give me insurance card. After filling out some papers I remembered that I had a secondary insurance which I had to report so I took it out and gave it to the receptionist who started criticizing me for forgetting about it. She rolled her eyes and started gossiping about my human mistake with the other receptionist. (She said: can you believe it?? NOW he is telling me that he has a secondary insurance, the other one replied: I know - in a matter of fact way)... Pros: nice doctor Cons: horrible staff more

Great Experience 8/14/2009

I had seen the negative reviews prior to my first visit, and almost canceled my appointment! Pros: Friendly, Knowledgable, Efficient more

Dr. Likosky is great. 7/7/2009

Office is well run and friendly. Pros: Very thorough; listens and explains clearly more

Great Doctor 11/11/2008

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about but I have never had a problem with the front desk (and frankly, if the doctors are great I couldn't care less about how polite the front desk is). Dr. Ashworth is fantastic. She treats me with respect. She is kind and considerate. And she apparently has always diagnosed me correctly as the treatments she has prescribed have always worked wonderfully. I highly recommend her. I can't speak for the other doctors as I have never seen them but she is awesome. You know, some people are never satisfied. I can't for the life of me believe I could ever have an experience there as bad as some of these people have described. I will say it is sometimes hard to get in there but they have ALWAYS gotten me in if it's a problem that needs immediate attention. more

Horrible front desk staff, okay doctors 6/30/2008

I've been reading this site for awhile and have been visiting Dr. Ormsby at Kirkland Dermatology for five years. After Dr. Likosky was on maternity leave, I was automatically transferred to Ormsby, and she was not too helpful. For treatment of my acne, she kept on suggesting treatments that I had already been prescribed by Likosky that didn't work. Not only was the quality of the doctor-patient relationship very minimal (no small talk, not too friendly) but it appeared that there was no conversation between the doctors themselves to confer about my treatment regimen. There's usually a long wait (15 minutes or so, plus trying to find parking at Evergreen) and then another 5 minute or so wait once inside the treatment room. Pros: consistent Cons: front desk staff! more

Dr. Ashworth is great, nurses are decent, front desk help lacking 1/14/2008

I have to agree with the previous review, their front desk help can be terrible and certainly inconsistant. They have one lady that sets up appointments when you're leaving, and she's nice enough. But the girl at the front desk reminds me of a hostess at a high end restaurant whom you just interupted on a personal call :). Which really stinks, since thats the first person you see when you walk through the door. Pros: Dr. Ashworth, Surgery Experience Cons: receptionists, wait for an appointment can be months more

Terrifying experience 8/13/2007

The doctor is not into patient concerns at all. She has directed me to an out of netwrok laboratory who billed be tons of money. She hasnt given me a clue about it. THey are all int he game sharing the profit ...bastards.. Pros: no pros Cons: no concern for patients more

I do not recommend Kirkland Derm 4/23/2007

Dr. Ashworth is an excellent doctor. But the staff at this place is inconsistent. I have had terrible experiences with their nursing station and the front office reception can be snobby and unwelcoming. It is unfortunate that some of their nursing staff are not only unhelpful but antagonistic when you are paying top dollar for treatment. Excellent medical care should include excellent customer service. In a business where you have other options, I strongly suggest that you go elsewhere. more

Good Experience, Would Recommend 3/24/2007

Our family has had a very positive experience with Dr. Ashworth as well as her staff. We have seen her on separate occasions and found Dr. Ashworth to be attentive and thorough. Her office checked with me after a week to see if the treatment prescribed was working and then called again after conferring with the doctor to give further instructions. more

I disagree - I had a great experience 1/17/2007

I went to Dr. Ashworth on the advice from my general practioner. I needed help for a keyloid mole, and happened to mention warts that had been plaguing me for years. Turns out, I did not have warts but another condition all together -- another dermatologist had misdiagnosed me and put me through painful freezing treatments for nothing. I found Dr. Ashworth professional and kind, and am definitely going back. more

Horrible experience 9/13/2006

I had a horrible experience at this clinic. Instead of the female doctor I was to see an ancient man wandered in, took off my robe to examine me and opened the door as I stood there for 2 minutes for the world to see me in all my glory. He then removed a ""suspicious looking mole"" without as much as telling me why or what would happen next. I was told to keep antibiotic ointment on the wound and ushered out the door, but not before the nurse opened the door and left it open for a couple more minutes. I will not be returning. Pros: Parking Cons: Customer service, Lack of respect more

Bad experiences here. I do not recommend it. Everyone can make their own opinion but with my personal experience and what happened to me I would not recommend anyone to go to Kirkland Dermatology. more
