I've always wondered where this place got it's name... I can't really speculate on that, but I can say that it's an OK place to come for fish (to keep in fishtanks as pets, not t...

honest and kind 4/25/2010

The couple that runs this place are very kind and honest. The woman can be a bit shy, but the man will help you find the best fish for your tank and let you know about the different fish's needs. Just ask him. more

GOOD SHOP 12/31/2005

There is a great selection of fish here, Offers tropical fish of all kinds. I was impressed by the health and selection of the fish here. Also you can bargain the prices so you might be able to get some real good deals. The owner is a pretty knowledgeable guy. more

They know their stuff 12/8/2005

The people here know their fish stuff. The tanks are decent, but absolutely great when compared to the other fish stores in the International District. When I go here, it is mainly to look or to get information, but if I wanted to buy something more common, I would probably check out PetCo or PetsMart first. It looks a bit shabby from the outside, but inside is a different story, so you should walk in and take a look. They are not pushy about sales either, so feel free to just gander at the fish. more

Something Fishy! 12/8/2005

This place is very fishy. The store owner has an assortmentof chiclids. The store mosly consists of flowerhorns. The prices are very expensive because the owner doesn't know squat about their actual value. The fish are really big and the store is easy to find, it is on Jackson and has a bright sign. more

you'd never guess from the name... 8/5/2005

I've always wondered where this place got it's name... I can't really speculate on that, but I can say that it's an OK place to come for fish (to keep in fishtanks as pets, not to cook or eat...) They don't have a huge assortment of fish, but the prices are pretty good. It's located in the International District on King Street. more
