Thank you 6/20/2019

I was first taken to the ICU after I began having trouble breathing and began vomiting blood. I then came to Kindred Aurora and it has been excellent! The staff always answer my calls and are kind when caring for me even when I make messes. The food is plentiful - they have pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. The physical therapists were great and came back for extra therapy after I missed a day I wasn’t feeling well. The respiratory care has been wonderful. I’m glad I came to Kindred Aurora to further my care. I would recommend this facility to others. more

Stellar Staff 6/17/2019

I have Asthma, C.O.P.D., Emphysema - a lot of lung issues. Tammy, RT has always been willing to work the nurses and doctors to make sure that I'm receiving the best possible care. Tish, RN stays focused and is always kind. This job is not for everyone, but she gives me her best everyday. Tabitha, CNA always goes the extra mile to give me her best and she is very non-judgementel Deneka, CNA has always leaves me with a smile and a laugh. more

Always remember, if you need a place to get well, Kindred has an amazing staff and you can't go wrong going here. They are very organized, and I want to give Kindred Hospital the utmost respect. I want the people of Colorado to know they can't go wrong here and I want to share my success story with everyone. I'd like to give big thanks to my case worker Leigh, Mr. Michael the advocate, Miss Holly the nurse, Mr. Will the nurse, Miss Lindsay the charge nurse, Miss Belinda, Miss Sara and Anna the CNA's, Mr. Matt (the boss with the hot sauce) the OT, Miss Rebecca the PT and the whole rehab team and Miss Connie. I can't forget to mention Dr. Yeager as well. To everyone I missed, you know who you are and a big thanks as well. more

Kindred Hospital 1/30/2018

There were a couple of people that were exceptional, Connie the nurse was just great. She really went our of her way to do the little things to make me feel comfortable. A couple of the CNAs (I can't remember their names) were amazing as well. Honestly, overall there were a bunch of good people here. It was a good stay, awful long but good. I really can't think of anything negative. more

I love Kindred for releasing me to be free! Thank you for my health, the stay and the loving care you gave me. I wouldn't be free without you! more

The nursing staff were very kind, they were also great about anticipating my needs. Things like snacks and ice chips they would just bring without me asking. At the previous hospital, the staff was so young that I just wasn't comfortable there, I was happy when I was sent to Kindred. Everyone was wonderful, thank you for everything and goodbye! more

Bill Stanley 8/10/2017

Most of the staff took an interest in not only my condition, but me as a person. Not being able to talk for most of my stay made things difficult, however, the staff was very creative in finding different ways to assist me to communicate. Also, the administration was fantastic in helping to resolve any concerns that I had. Big kudos goes out to the staff in general for the overall care I received while here. - Bill Stanley. more

Victoria Bell 6/22/2017

Kindred is the best hospital I have ever been to, and I have been to many. I love the nurses, day and night, and regret that I have to leave. The entire staff has been wonderful. Thank you for everything, Victoria Bell more

My son's stay at Kindred 6/20/2017

I would like to thank the nurses and the case manager Leigh for everything they did for my son. They took the time to talk with me, explain things and answer any questions I had, even when I would call. Thank you everyone at Kindred for your kindness. more

I am a sixty-seven year old female. Recently I had a ruptured appendix. After being hospitalized, I had to go to a Kindred Hospital for acute care. I found myself being treated like a family member, with care, consideration, and lots of laughter. I'm happy to say that I have recovered enough to go home. I will miss the staff, who I consider friends, and I want them to know that I would recommend their services to anyone in need of this level of care. The entire staff deserves the highest praise and kudos for their professionalism and expert care. And thanks to them, I'm can enjoy my retirement with my husband and family and move on to the next phase of my life. more

I have been in and out of this facility several times in the past 10 months and with each stay the facility got better and better with meeting my needs both medical and personal...the administrative staff visits very often and listens to what my concerns are and addresses them.. the CEO makes it her mission to make sure all is going smoothly, i think she alone makes this place feel more like home and not just a hospital..the therapy has been excellent and progresses with me and the nursing and staff have been great and i can even call a few of them friends Over all its been a good stay...The facility has grown each time i have come here to better help me with my healing here and when i go home more

My daughter's experience at Kindred 3/16/2017

My daughter, Katheryne Austin, has been a patient at Kindred since February 17, 2017. She is receiving care for the following illness Guilliam Barre, Miller Fischer Syndome and cardiac arrest. The staff at Kindred are miracle workers; upon my daughter's area she could only lift her head. With the help from Occupational, Phyiscal, Respiratory, Speech therapy, doctors, nurses, CNA and house keepiing it has been three weeks and Katheryne can do the following: raise both arms, make a fist with both hands, do thumps up, point, wash her face with both hands and brush her teeth. She is able to kick and lift both legs. On March 16, 2017 she sat up for 1 minute and 30 seconds with no assist from physical therapy (but the therapists were on hand to make sure she would not get hurt) and she repeated the exercise three more times. Kindred Hospital is an amazing heath faculty and I have never seen a group of people work so well as the staff at this hospital. Thank you all for taking such good care of only child. Rita L. Staying at Kindred 3/14/2017

At first I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to go to Kindred, so I was thankful when that they were able to find a way to admit me. I worked hard with the physical therapists, they were great but I wish I could of done more. The rest of the staff were nice, friendly and treated me with respect. Holly in particular was amazing and consistently went above and beyond. Overall I would say the stay was excellent. - Jeri more

My experience at Kindred 2/28/2017

There were several staff members I thought were wonderful - Kerri, Sara, Elsie, Anna, Thomas and Cynthia to name a few. They paid a lot of attention to my husband, really everyone did a wonderful job. The therapist were fantastic as well, they did beautiful work to help him regain the strength he needed. Sincerely, Shirley Lopez more

The Sanctuary 1/24/2017

Some people wish for a safe place. But every once in a while, by accident or design, the all-mighty steps in because he is not quite through with you. He then places you in a place where there are people who actually care and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Where everybody is looking after your welfare. There is such a place in Aurora, it's a rehab place. Where your not a number, your a person. We're talking about Kindred Hospital Aurora. Shalom, Joshua Abraham more
