Kimo's Sushi Shop has the authentic flavors of home that I miss, being so far away from Hawaii. The atmosphere is inviting, comfortable, and laid back. The Hawaiian decor is tasteful with Hawaiian music playing in the background unobtrusively. Service is prompt and very friendly, and the restaurant is clean.
As others have mentioned, the menu is diverse but not intimidating. Sushi is presented exquisitely and the flavors blend very well. I always order Kimos fresh spin on what is typically boring inari sushi. Last week Friday, I ordered the plate lunch and instantly became homesick! It included kalua pork (shredded pork with a smoky flavor), teriyaki chicken, shrimp tempura, kimchi, potato salad, chow fun, and haupia (coconut dessert). Ono (delicious)!
Pros: Authentic, Quality and freshness, Great service
