KIDS is another fun option for something to do on a rainy day. I certainly appreciate what they are trying to create - a discovery museum where parents and children can have fun exploring - but they still have a long way to go. It is a nice, big building with plenty of space, and lots of different activities. However, a lot of the activities seem a little chintzy, like someone whipped them up in their garage or something, not like a professional fabricator made them (a.k.a., ScienceWorks or OMSI). Also, they do not keep the place nearly as clean as Jitterbugz, where I have actually seen employees sanitize ach individual toy. I haven’t been overly impressed with the staff, as a couple of times I have overheard them talking about things that I find inappropriate in that kind of setting. The membership prices are fair, though, and my kids have a great time, so we’ll keep going.
