Didn't find her very helpful 4/30/2008

This is the first podiatrist I've gone to for a plantar wart that won't go away. She didn't seem very helpful. She cut it down and put some acid on it, which I've been doing for months now. Then she told me to come back the next week and she'd do it again. Considering I'd been doing the same thing for months and it hadn't worked and I'd told her that (and she blew that information off) I felt it was a waste of money to go see her. She also tried to sell me a lot of products like socks and shoes (granted I did buy a very expensive pair of socks which turned out to be good for hiking - but I could've bought them at REI and saved the Dr. visit). I would not recommend her. more

I wouldn't recommend... 2/27/2007

I hate to be mean, but I just don't think this woman is a very good podiatrist. Admittedly I've only visited her twice but both experiences left me with that feeling that I was just ripped off. She did diagnose the problem correctly, however she made me feel like it was a stupid problem and she never even showed me the x-rays. She prescribed some orthotics, which I bought (expensive!) out of pocket because they told me my insurance didn't cover it. Come to find out it does...so that was annoying. more
