Great atmosphere 4/13/2011

We stumbled upon a winner with Kenton Station. It's a family friendly restaurant with great food and service. It's nice to find a place where my kids are welcome and my husband can watch a game on one of the several large screen tv's. We'll be back! more

The food is great, the cheeseburgers are unrivaled. The staff are all friendly and acknowledge you as soon as you enter. Keeps you wanting to come back. more

Neighborhood Local 12/6/2009

I love this place...for a lot of reasons. It's located close to my house, but it's also close to Max and the bus. They have good cold beer on tap, friendly barmaids, decent food, and you can almost always find whatever sporting event your looking for on one of the many t.v.'s. Pros: Friendly Staff more

Great place 3/14/2009

I try to come here once a week if I can. It's great to meet friends after work for some dinner and drinks, the food is excellent and plentiful, and the drinks are good and strong! I stopped by for breakfast last weekend, and it was excellent - I'll be doing that more often. Pros: The food, the atmosphere, the service, the prices! Cons: Only open for breakfast on the weekends more

Great place for our family 3/12/2009

We go to the Kenton Station about once a week with family or friends. The food is great, and their nightly specials are amazing. The cook makes a mean chicken parmesan! Pros: No more smoking, video games for kids, good food Cons: lack of parking on a busy night more

Service with an attitude 3/12/2009

The service I recieved when dining here was snotty and dismissive. I got the clear idea that I was interrupting some personal conversation when I had the nerve to order a drink from the bartender. Worse yet, when I asked for a menu it appeared to be a huge issue that I actually wanted to sit down and have my order taken. The dining room was dirty and the furniture was shabby. All of that aside, I might still have had an ok evening if the food had just been edible. Pros: They are very close to Pizza Fino making it easy to find decent food elsewhere Cons: dirty bathroom, dirty dining room, noisy, greasy food, terrible service more

Frozen food, weak, poorly concocted cocktails, and rude, self-involved service, plus the riotous bonus of ill behaved children 3/3/2009

Every time I have had the misfortune of frequenting this establishment I have left it sorry I even bothered. The menu consists of mostly frozen or reconstituted items that are both unappetizing and uninspired. And yes, I do realize it IS bar food, but that just brings me to my next point. Fun and Friendly - oh yeah, great food too. 2/6/2009

A great, unpretentious restaurant and pub that's worth your time to investigate. Great food and terrific service - even during busy periods - make Kenton Station a great destination for lunch, dinner, or connecting with friends. Classic motorcycles adorn the large front windows, and there are more high-def TVs then you can shake a stick at. If it feels friendly, that's because it is - on your second or third visit, chances are you'll realize you've come to know the staff and some of the regulars. Walk right up and introduce yourself to owner James - you'll see him, he's always making the rounds checking on everyone, serving up meals, and introducing patrons to each other. Kenton Station is THE destination in NW PDX for the Super Bowl party and chili cook-off! At any given time, there always seems to be something fun happening or coming up soon. Pros: fun atmosphere, great food, unpretentious, fun area to walk around and enjoy more

Great Food and Friendly Atmosphere 6/7/2008

The cook is fantastic with multi talents from burgers to special dishes, including seafood, italian, battered foods.....and large portions. I enjoy a glass of wine with most meals and the toddy is my favorite. The staff is friendly and exceptionally attentive. It includes free pool! My nearly 89 year old father enjoys that! Favorite New Hangout - Stiff Drinks and Fat Portions 11/11/2007

So I was pleasantly surprised by this pub. I guess there is a new owner, and he's trying to breath some new life into this neighborhood bar. We sat at the bar top before snagging a booth on the non-smoking side. It really was like an episode of cheers in there. The owner was bullshitting with the customers and the bartender seemed to know everyone's name, even though I heard her say she's new there. Awesome patty melt & clam strips! 10/8/2007

I love this local bar, free pool table, all the sports u need, and KT the bartender ROCKS!!!! I hang out at the station a frequently and the service is as great as the food!! I highly recommend the clam ""steaks"" they are HUGE and yummy! The patty melt is just as you'd like it and the beer battered fries are super tastey! The beer options are perfect! You really can't go wrong, big dinning area, big bar, outside seating, and really friendly staff and patrons. They have fun events often and KT the bartender is what you'd hope all bartenders would be! You need it she's got it, with a big smile and fast service and a good chat!! Best place for Breakfast and Beer in Kenton 8/16/2007

Go here if you don't want to wait in line at the hipster place next door. The food is cooked with love-you can taste it! They have Kokanie and Guinness on tap and yummy sandwiches. On holidays- do come by and try out the spread. It's like going over to a friends house...The owner James is seen here and is friendly. The drinks are strong and tasty. Kenton Station is GREAT! They are always attentive, pour great drinks and the owner Larry, always stops by to check up on you. Only place in the area that is worth going to! In one word: Great 8/20/2004

The Kenton Station has always been a favorite of my family, who has been going to it for several years now. To say that this places has the best service I've ever witnessed would be an understatement - All the waiters and waitresses are extremely friendly, as well as quick and accurate. The atmosphere is extremely laid back and relaxing. The menu is somewhat limited (Hamburgers, fish'n chips, sandwiches), but what they do they do great. I can easilly say that they serve the best hamburgers I've ever had. Overall, I'd have to say that this place is pretty awesome. Pros: Great Food, Great Service more
