I have been a member of Future Fitness for about 8 years. I love that they are the only gym in the area with so many class offerings, from cardio & zumba, to yoga to spin & aqua classes all included in your membership. They also offer a few more at a reasonable additional cost. more

I have been a member for 5 yrs. I initially started with doing the cardio classes. I enjoyed them until I received an ankle injury and needed to do a different type of exercise. I started with the aqua classes with the idea of doing them temporarily until I healed but I have stayed with the aqua classes ever since. I enjoy the instructors, variety of classes, the saltwater versus chlorine pools, the cleanliness of the showers and facility. Though I don't utilize the nurse or trainer services as much as I like it is good to know they are available when I need. more

I live in PA and work in NJ and when I was looking for a gym, location was important. Well, I really lucked out with Future Fitness. I use three of their locations: Mt. Laurel is my home base near my main office; Turnersville is near a satellite office where I consult, and Cherry Hill is on my way home to PA for after work work-outs. But location is only the beginning. I have been extremely pleased with the facilities, staff and trainers. The equipment is top-notch and I have never had to wait to get in a rep. Members are totally cool and friendly but not intrusive. The whole experience at the gym for me is serene, professional, and individual. I have used the fitness eval and personal trainers, and the info gained was very helpful. I am very close to Virtua's new facility which I hear is very nice. Given all the positives about FF, I have little interest in checking it out. My plan is to stay with FF long-term. I am seeing results, I have the ability to schedule my workouts flexibly given the three locations that I use, and I enjoy every visit to they gym. Highly recommended. more

I joined Future Fitness just about a year ago. I was definitely on a budget and knew I didn't want to spend much for the gym so I assumed I'd join planet fitness or ""wow"" or something, but my friend led me to Future Fitness. Though, it was a little more pricey than the neighboring gyms, the extra costs has been totally worth it. I've been a guest at other gyms, but I really feel at home with Future Fitness. Anytime of day, there are always machines available--even during the ""after work rush hour"". The locker rooms are always clean with private showers and a sauna! But what really sold me was the heated salt water pool. It's no fun entering a cold pool during the winter, but anytime I walk into the pool area at Future Fitness, I'm immediately comfortable and warm. I also like that there are only small circular windows to see outside instead of floor to ceiling windows like most indoor pools. This really allows your time in the pool to feel private which I appreciate, not to mention the hot tub which is a great bonus and always clean! Everything about Future Fitness feels personalized and comfortable. I love being a member! more

For Christmas of 2012 my boyfriend got me a six week trail. After my six weeks were up, I joined! I love everything about this gym! It is never busy, nice sized locker rooms and great equipment. The pool, jacuzzi and steam room make the gym ten times better! Also on Sundays there is family swim which is great that they have that available for free! I would never go to any other gym than here its very sanitized and I always see people cleaning the equipment. more

I joined Future Fitness after my knee replacement in 2008. I love this gym. First of all it is very clean. I am not intimidated by freaky muscle men. The trainers seem very knowledgeable and give attention to my special needs. I love the pool and hot tub. All the equipment and other facilities are well maintained. more

I joined FF in August of this year and I must say that I absolutely love this gym! First of all, it is very clean and I like the fact that all members must bring a towel to their workout with them (instead of getting extremely sweaty and dripping all over the machines!). Also, it’s never too crowded and I can always get the machine of my choice without a wait or a fight…I feel like I’m at my own all-inclusive resort without the pesty crowds. Furthermore, their child care centers are AMAZING- all of the babysitters I’ve encountered have been very sweet and attentive to my child. I really enjoy watching the childcare center on the TV’s while I am working out as well so that I can always be sure that my child is happy and being well taken care of. Definitely a great gym for parents and for people like me who like to “get in the zone” during their workouts without the crowds! more

I just recently quit this club because of the aggravation and lack of organization. I was told conflicting information multiple times as it seems the locations and the corp have no idea what each other is doing. It took three attempts to finally quit the gym, and after I had already quit, I finally received a call back from the manager to discuss my membership, to which I had to remind him I already met with him in person and quit. Everyone seems clueless in this organization. more

I definitely do not utilize my membership as much as I should, but I plan to change that for the upcoming year. I enjoy the fact that everyone is nice and helpful when needed and that the facility is clean. I never feel intimidated when I go and even those who attend the gym are willing to help you if need me. I am a fan of future fitness! more

I have been a member of FF for about three years. I would say I underutilized my membership for a number of reasons. But I have a generally positive experience of most of the facilities and personnel. I had especially effective interactions with the manager, Chris (don't remember last name), who tries very hard to accommodate members. I enjoyed the elliptical machines and freeweights. Other customers very friendly. Parking somewhat difficult. more

Not very happy with Future Fitness. Besides being more expensive than it should be, I find it very confusing. Too many machines - all numbered. First you have to LOCATE the machine you want, then you have to ADJUST the seat, back , weight, whatever, do a few reps, then do the whole process over again with the next machine. Once you get through your routine one time, you have to go through the whole process again. You spend more time setting up than exercising. At my previous gym, if I didn't go for a while I got a call to see if something was wrong. I haven't been to Future Fitness in months but they haven't even noticed. They got my money. That's all they wanted. more

I have been a member for about 6-7 months and have been nothing but happy with the facility. The gym is always clean and the staff is friendly. It is never over crowded which is great since you don't have to wait to use a machine. The salt water pool is also a great feature. I would definitely recommend this gym. I feel really comfortable and enjoy going there to work out. more

The classes are great. Sometimes a little crowded but overall the instructors know what they are doing. Be sure to read the fine print because getting out of their contract can be a nightmare. It takes 3 months to cancel...3 MONTHS! Overall the facilities are clean and the staff are very nice. more

Future Fitness has been a great place to go and workout. It's not overly crowded, it has tons of machines and free weights. The classes are great too. I partake in the cardio kickboxing and its a fantastic workout, I highly reccomend. Access to the pool is a big plus as well. Overall its a great place to workout and not feel overwhelmed by lack of equipment or people in your way. Go to Future Fitness, you won't regret it. more

There is not enough parking at the Mt. Laurel gym, even in the mid-morning! If you're on a tight schedule, find someplace else. Have been late for classes I've paid extra for because the parking was like the mall on Black Friday. I called customer service and got the rudest person I've talked to in a long, long time. She was arguing with me, almost telling me off. Individual trainers and group leaders are great, if you can get in to the building. more

The worst!!!!! 3/23/2012

Wow, just WOW! I was interested in joining this gym so I took the tour. The staff seemed very friendly when I arrived. Mike showed me around the gym and was also very friendly, however all that changed when he told me the prices. They were WAY more than advertised!!! When I politely declined his attitude changed and he became VERY RUDE!! I am a stay at home mother and wanted to talk to my husband about it, because of this Mike accused my husband of not loving me and told me to re-think my relationship with him!! I was speechless, I have never been treated so rudely in my life! more

Have been a member for 3 years. My association with the fitness center had its ups and downs, but here is the gist: 1. once they know your needs and requirements, the manager would start his cheap games of trying to lock you in some never ending agreement. 2. you will never realize how difficult it is to get out of their contract. 3. there is a zillion fine print clause that makes life miserable if you try altering your membership in some way. 4. All smiling faces from reception to manager will show true colors when you contact about an unusual service, eg. international travel (account freeze), moving to neighboring facility or even termination. Be Xtremely cautious with them in case you decide to join. Pros: nice website and promos, just to get you locked Cons: 0 customer service more
