Kavarna

I was very disappointed in Kavarna. Everyone seems to rave about how wonderful they are but I fear that it is just a hype. I work on Broadway and they made a huge deal about bringing me tea even though I am only three buildings away. They could not have been more rude. The guy acted as though it was the biggest challenge in the world even though I told him there was no hurry. When I received my tea the gentleman who delivered it tossed it at me and ran out the door. I don't expect much just a hello and a hope you enjoy your tea. There are plenty of other businesses on Broadway that happily deliver and are kind and courteous. I would suggest going to one of the other coffeehouses in Green Bay where they know what customer service is. more

great service, great atmosphere, fabulous menu. everything i have ever tried was top notch. i would highly recommend to anyone looking for something a little different. and remember- just because there isn't any meat, doesn't mean its not utterly delish!!!!! Pros: best vegetarian food in town more

Soups, sandwiches, teas, beers, wine, or a baked good. Relaxing atmosphere in a quaint place downtown. Casual service. Live music on occasion. A hip spot in Green Bay, amongst the legions of stale bars. more

Kavarna might be one of the best casual vegetarian eateries in the country. Forget what you think you know about vegetarian food, there's no tofu on the menu, and most customers aren't even vegetarian. Also an excellent coffeehouse and place for desserts. I love it! I adore this restaurant! From the pleasant, very well kept surroundings to the unusual menu choices and excellent service, I recommend this restaurant over pretty much any other in town! They even provide games for all ages to keep everyone from infant to adult occupied until the food comes. The Gypsy Vegetable soup is the best soup I have ever had, and the smoothies are to die for!\r I very much recommend giving this venue a try...
