Katie's Meat & Three is the best kept secret in Nashville - and that's a shame. Katie has been cooking for decades and her current loyal customers know that for a fact. The chicken is fried and crisp, and the baked chicken is tender and moist. Another favorite is their meatloaf - it is to die for. On Fridays, people flock in for the chicken and dressing - man what a taste! Fridays menu also has sweet potato casserole which is excellent. Their fruit tea is out-of-this-world! Katie always gets high praises for her turnip greens. I eat the greens everyday, and it beats everyone elses by a mile. Katie told me they spend hours cleaning and prepping the greens - NO CANS!
