Dr. Schwartz is hands-down the most helpful and professional doctor I have encountered in Los Angeles. She responds promptly to emails/voicemails, her sessions are reasonably priced, and her level of expertise is exceptional. She has helped me with food addiction, self-esteem, and relationship issues. If you are looking for a psychologist, it doesn't get much better than Dr. Schwartz. more

A great experience. 2/12/2010

I was refered to Dr. Karin Schwartz for a psychological evaluation prior to having weight-loss surgery in 2008. She helped me feel much more comfortable with the whole process, and made sure I was certain that I was making the right decision for the long-haul. I decided to continue in therapy with her after the evaluation, in order to explore the emotional component of my eating. Dr. Schwartz is very warm, engaging and knowledgable, and I am very grateful for all the great work we have done together. more

Dr. Schwartz helped me tremendously 8/13/2009

I came to see Dr. Karin Schwartz when I was struggling with many relationship and food issues. Over the past few years, I had tried many other ways to get help, but nothing seemed to make a difference. Dr. Schwartz helped me gain a lot of insight on why I do what I do, and provided me with many useful tools on how to make better choices for myself and start liking myself. I am now in a wonderful relationship both with myself and with my new partner. more
