The staff is very rude and they do not seem focused on the customer. The employees are more focused on there cell phones and friends. At least in the larger chain stores managers do not allow this. I have been to the competitors and ALWAYS go to the best. I have been a patron of Karen's Kreamery since they were located in Avondale on 107th and Indian school. It should say something when a business has been in business or OVER 13 years they must be doing something right. People are stating that Karen's Kreamery is to pricey but you pay by the ounce and get what you pay for plus in comparison she is cheaper the Coldstone or Marble Slab plus their ice cream is grainy, and weird in a way. People do not realize that major franchises get deductions for being a large business from other companies that want to monopolize this nation. She has a higher premium then them plus whatever flavor you want you can get anytime, even if it is not in the case they can make the flavor on their cold slab right then and there. Her ice cream in National Winning on its flavor and consistence over other companies. I strongly DISAGREE with the negative comments. The employees will go out of their way to make you happy and as for the comment on charging .50 cents for the credit card machine that is what the credit card companies charges them per transaction and they no longer charge for that anymore. I will Always go back plus we should support mom and pop shops so that major franchises do not monopolize this nation. Mom and pop shops are what keep this economy strong and we need that this day and age. Try it for yourself them you will agree Karen's Kreamery IS THE BEST. Karen's Kreamery has the most scrumptious ice creams. Their cheesecake ice cream taste just like cold cheesecake. Their pricing is much more competitive than larger chain ice cream shops. They also have ice cream cakes and non-fat frozen treats for people who are watching calories! I've been a patron of Karen's Kreamery even before they were in Surprise.
