I had my LASIK surgery 3 weeks ago, in January 2014. I could not possibly be happier with the results! Having LASIK surgery with Dr. Kameen is hands down the best decision I've ever made, and like many staff members told me.. most people only wish they'd had it sooner! I've had to use corrective lenses since I was in kindergarten and eventually worked my way up to -7.00. Now I am seeing 20/20 with no hassle of glasses or contacts. My quality of life will be drastically improved. Any reservations I had about the surgery were resolved during my consultation; the staff members at Kameen Eye Associates are wonderful and Dr, Kameen is very down to earth and forthcoming about the procedure. They leave no stone unturned, walking you through every little step of this process, I knew I was in great hands. Would 100% recommend the surgery itself, and this particular doctor to any friend or family! Thank you! more

I have been wanting to get Lasik Surgery for years, I wanted to wait until I knew of others that had it done and find out what their experience was first. Everyone I talked to said ""DO IT..you won't regret it"". Six of those people were prior patients of Dr. Kameen. They all were completely satisfied and spoke highly of Dr. Kameen and his staff. I decided to make the 2 1/2 hour drive to his office rather than go to someone closer because of all the positive feedback. I scheduled an appointment in December and after he examined me, he suggested I wear my glasses another 4 weeks just to be sure. His attention to detail and wanting to do it right the first time was impressive. I have worn contacts for 35 years, and finally can wake up and see clearly. This is a life changer!! THANK YOU DR. I was really nervous about having LASIK surgery, and as a result I put it off for years. Finally, fed up with contacts, and having heard so many people tell me how great their experience was with Dr. Kameen, I decided to go in for a consultation. Dr. Kameen and his staff had the best bedside manner I've ever experienced. They made me feel so at ease and comfortable with the the whole LASIK process that I decided to move forward. The surgery was a breeze. The LASIK portion only lasted 12 seconds per eye, and there was no pain whatsoever. I REALLY wish I had not put this off for years. Hindsight is 20/20, but now my eyesight is 20/15! Don't wait like I did. Dr. Kameen and all of his staff are extremely nice. They explained everything thoroughly and made sure I was comfortable with the procedure before going forward. I went in for my consultation thinking I was going to get both eyes done. To my surprise, Dr. Kameen indicated that I really only need to get the procedure on one eye and I would have significant improvement in my vision. That kind of honesty is rare today. I had the procedure on one eye and no longer need glasses for distance. Thank you Dr. Kameen!! more

If you are even possibly thinking of having LASIK you must meet Dr. Kameen and his team. You won't believe how comfortable and rewarding you will feel after having this procedure. They are so professional and caring, you feel like you are with family. There is no pain during surgery. When I was having the LASIK it was like looking at a beautiful sky of stars twinkling. I totally trusted them with eyes because of how well the team works together. I work in the medical field ....this is the only place I would have work on my eyes! I had worn glasses since kindergarten and when I went to Dr Kameen I was thrilled that I was a candidate for LASIK. He did a thorough evaluation of my eyes and told me a lot about the procedure. When I got there for surgery I could tell that the staff had been doing this for a long time. They had a routine and let me wait until I was ready to start the surgery. I was nervous so one of the staff members (Katie I think) held my hand for me. I could tell Dr Kameen and his team have a good dynamic and work efficiently together. I am so thrilled with my experience at Kameen. From the first moment I walked in to the follow up appointments, every step was 1) simple 2) personal 3) professional and 4) comforting. I expected a high level of service, especially for something involving my my vision. What I was incredibly impressed by was the personalized experience and the sensitivity shown by the entire staff. Eyes make me squeamish and I only had to tell one person that upon arrival. After that EVERYONE respected my squeamishness and told me what I needed to know and hear, while making sure I was comfortable with the information. What really blew my mind was when one of the nurses was rubbing my arm to comfort me during the procedure. Such a subtle thing made a big difference in my experience. I had my lasik done about a month ago and my only regret is I should had done it sooner. I was initially afraid because of the possible complications, but I assure you, Dr. Kameen is highly skilled surgeon. I was able to drive the day after surgery and that means a lot considering my pre-op prescription was -8.75. So, if you are a good candidate, then by all means get it done. You will thank me later. more

If anyone is considering having LASIK surgery, I would DEFINITELY recommend having it done, and I would absolutely recommend that it be done by Dr. Kameen. Everyone in the entire office is friendly, and I found that they were very acommodating. I was terrified about having the process done, but Dr. Kameen was extremely comforting and reassured me that the procedure would go smoothly- which it did. I couldn't believe that I was actually able to walk out of the office the day of the procedure seeing things without my glasses. I was surprised that on the day of my consultation I was able to schedule my surgery for the next week. I honestly felt absolutely no pain during the procedure or at any point after. I went from having terrible vision since childhood to having 20/20 vision!!! more

I was absolutely petrified at the idea of LASIK surgery even though I really wanted to have my vision corrected. If you are even considering LASIK, there is NO ONE better with whom you should consult than Dr. Kameen. Informative, supportive and immediately put me at ease. I was blown away by the results (surgery was early april 2013) and how comforting and attentive I found Dr. Kameen and the members of his staff as well. I had Lasik surgery done May 2013. At my age, I thought I wouldn't be able to have my eyes corrected! After speaking with Dr. Kameen directly, I found this to be incorrect. if you're thinking about Lasik there is no where else to go...except Dr. Kameen. Dr. Kameen and his entire staff are wonderful. i've never felt so comfortable, safe, respected, and sincerely looked after at any other doctor's office. you will not be disappointed if you go here. they are knowledgeable, polite, and lovely to work with. i hope anyone who's considering Lasik choose correctly. it's worth the peace of mind knowing all the experience they have, and up to date technology. i'm so happy to say that i'm a client of Dr. Kameen! thank you again Doc and Staff! more

I got LASIK surgery in February of 2013 and the difference is amazing. Dr. Kameen was awesome. He was very personable and wanted to make sure that I had any and all of my questions answered before undergoing the surgery. It was also really nice that when he was conducting examinations, he would always be talking about what he was doing and what he was looking for, etc. He also did a really great job explaining what was happening before, during, and after the surgery. The surgery went great and I would definitely recommend Dr. Kameen! more

The decision to have Lasik surgery was one that took me about five years to finally make. I was concerned about the risks and my sight is everything for my work. After the consultation I felt comfortable with Dr Kameen and his confidence that I would achieve an amazing result. Dr. Kameen delivered on his promise and I have been so very pleased with his work. My nearsightedness was corrected in seconds and I had NO post operative problems. If I have any advice for people on the fence about whether or not to have this treatment by Dr Kameen, it is go for it! It was the best decision I have made. more

I got Lasik in May 2013 and it was the best decision I've ever made. Dr. Kameen made it well worth the experience! I went from 20/300, 20/400 to 20/15. His staff is very knowledgeable of the procedures and make everything wonderful and made the procedure easy. more
