Julia's Jungle Grooming & Self Dog Wash

DON'T TAKE YOUR PET HERE. She only cares about making as much money as she can. We woke to our dog not able to stand or walk. We called this vet and were told to bring her in as soon as possible, when we arrived we were told that the dog would need to stay overnight, vet has yet to see the dog. When asked why we were told that the vet was busy and to have the dog seen we would need to leave her and the vet would attempt to see her tomorrow, but no guarantee. Leaving our dog overnight would mean she would be sitting in an unsupervised cage overnight and the vet would try and see her tomorrow if she had time. Needless to say we left, but the staff member we had been speaking to made it a point to be as rude as she could when she loudly said to us ?have a good night?, we are holding our sick dog that they won't see unless we give them several nights boarding. more

We adopted Katie (an American Eskimo) from Julia's Jungle about 4 months ago, with notes that the vet had examined her, removed some bad teeth and spayed her...which is great, but she evidently overlooked a badly infected toe, which now will have to be amputated. The condition was a bone infection, which resulted in a disfigured rear toe and a noticeable limp, and according to our personal vet, should have been noted and taken care of when she was treated by Julia's Jungle. We are taking care of the problem, but it would have been better if we had been informed of the problem in the first place, and it would have eliminated 4 months of additional suffering for Katie. On a happier note, she is an excellent dog, loveable, and has stolen our hearts. more

what a FABULOUS place to take my animals!! all the staff LOVE the animals boarding there. they are in a heat/air conditioning environment and treated with love. my dog got kennel cough while there and they medicated at no cost to me. i have since learned that i need to get and keep updated the bordatella shot which pretty much helps from my dogs getting kennel cough, i thought since i don't take my dogs anywhere then it was not needed but not the truth. i will never go anywhere unless i can board my animals at julias jungle. more

I recently decided to try Julia's Jungle for dog grooming after getting rave reviews from a friend. I took my dog in two weeks ago, and he came back with a partially torn dew-claw. I had to take him to my vet to have it surgically removed, at a cost of $240. I sent an email to them, and received a call back. I was told I should have brought my dog back to their vet and they would have taken care of it for free but if I needed more antibiotics for him, they would give those to me for free? REALLY--this is what passes for good customer service?!? more

We found Socrates three weeks ago - he is a 5-year old large male tabby cat with striking markings and a very REGAL manner. As an older cat, he had been waiting for four months to be adopted. His photo struck our hearts when we saw him online, and we are now blessed with a WONDERFUL new member of our family! Socrates is a loving, sweet, beautiful, playful and snuggly cat. Our experience in adopting him through Julia's Jungle was terrific - they are very caring, kind folks who are committed to a lifelong bond with their animals. They microchip each animal and are always ready to help again if needed, always THERE for each animal who comes to them. Socrates is an example of this commitment - he had been born in their shelter, adopted out for several years, lost, then found, but no longer had a family to return to. Julia's Jungle nursed him back to health and patiently waited for him to be ""rescued"". Socrates is settling in very nicely with us - he is Soooo happy to a last be enjoying his new ""kingdom"" and getting to know us. We were very impressed with the quality of care Socrates received while at Julia's Jungle, and their kind, professional and heartfelt interest in the welfare of Socrates. more

Back in December I purchased ""Patrick"", now JoJo. He is a 5 year old long haired chihuahua. When I first got him he was having some problems ajusting. Every question that I had and every time I had any type of problems being that this was my first dog. The staff at Julia's Jungle was incredible. I would recomend that anyone with a pet they love or have any questions about your pet that you go to Julia's Jungle. They are incredible and seem to love each of the animals that come into their place as one of their own What more could any person that loves their animal want. I have had my dogs & cats treated next door for years. The grooming and boarding facility is wonderful and provides a great service to the community. Some of the ladies can be a bit gruff but are great with the animals however most are very polite and wonderful with animals. Pros: A needed service, clean & tidy, affordable Cons: I honestly can't think of anything to fault. Oh! No free espresso! ;-) more

I boarded my dogs thnking this would be a good place but my dog ended up coming home with Kennel cough and not himself at all, My dog has never been boarded prior and they said basiclly oh well, I've never seen such rude people and will never recommend them or board my animals again, if you care for your beloved animals i wouldn't reccomend them, Pros: bit yard for the dogs to roam Cons: they don't take responsiblity if your animals get sick from them/ faucility more
