Jonah's Oyster Bar is the best place to have lunch in Peoria, IMHO. The menu is varied enough to provide something for everyone. The crabcake sandwich and fried oyster are wonderful. There are always a variety of fresh oysters available and also a sampler platter of all the various types. The ambience is also nice with wall to ceiling windows and, therefore, views of the river. My husband and I once sat next to one of these during a summer thunderstorm and watched great lightening fireworks over the river! There is also a deck for summertime dining. Great place to eat!
