Unseen quote to fix transmission from Jim to an auto mechinc in Lacon for me. Quote $1550, final charge for work done to fix it was $294. Cadiallac Quote -$3200. Jim only charges...

This shop kept the parts to explain what happened to the transmission. The price on the repair (rebuilding the transmission) was half that of the other shops in Peoria. Well worth the drive, despite it being tricky to find if you are not familiar with the area. Also the hours are a little limited if you're commuting there. more
