Malous at JazyHair in Sherman Oaks has been doing my hair for over 5 years now. I have never been more comfortbale with a hairstylist as i have been with her. Her eye for color is amazing and she always has new ideas when it comes to haircutting. I highly reccomend Malous, you will be very happy with what she has to offer! more

Amber at Jazyhair is the one!!! 2/17/2008

Amber at Jazyhair in Sherman Oaks was like a tall glass of water after a drought -- a true blessing. At first meet, she was extremely free-spirited, humble and welcoming (great hospitality). I truly felt as if I'd known her for years! She was very attentive to my needs and it was apparent that she really loves what she does. She showed me the products she would use on my hair and even offered a snack and something to drink! High-level customer service is obviously a priority --not to mention, the girl can whip-up some hair! Amber is so natural in her ability to give you that boost you need when you are tired of the ""same ole look"". She seemed very knowledgeable about current trends as we discussed some possible styles that would fit my personality and face. I have a very thick and full head of natural hair, so most stylists sigh when I show up. Amber didn't flinch - she actually loved my hair and looked forward to ""working it"". I was in and out and didn't feel rushed at all. She was definitely a breath of fresh air after one too many bad hair experiences in other salons. To top things off, I received a 20% discount as a first-time visitor- can't beat that...I was sure to set a follow up appointment on my way out. Pros: Customer Service Cons: street parking more

I enjoyed getting my hair done here - everyone was exceptionally nice, I felt at home with the cool music and green tea and chocolates offered :o) I was aware they did all kinds of hair, men, and women..but I was pleasantly surprised to learn that indeed they do offer natural/dreadlock hair care as well!!! Amber hooked it up with all natural products and I left very satisfied! I look forward to returning! more

I highly recommend the lovely LIANA from JazyHair Salon. Her work is exceptionally great. I found Jazyhair on the internet 2 years ago. I called to set an appointment to do a permanent hair straigtning and thats when I first meet Jazmine. I liked her the very first time I talk to her. She is very nice, and loves what shes doing. She did an AWESOME JOB with my hair. I get so many compliments with my har. I love my hair and never been happier. more

Amber is Amazing!! 2/10/2008

I have African hair, and needed someone to do a relaxer. I called Jazy hair and Amber was able to fit me in that morning. When I walked into the salon, it was sparkling clean and ultra classy. She welcomed me with a warm smile, and took time to examine my hair and consult with me before getting started. My scalp burns when I get relaxers, but this time the relaxer came out really good and I didn't have any scalp irritation. A few days later, Amber called me to find out how my hair was doing...I was so touched....awww!! Today, she conditioned my hair and it looks and feels fabulous. Amber is always on time, so you'll never have to wait before she gets to you. She'll make sure you're comfortable, offer you a complementary beverage/snack....and to top it all, she's fun and interesting. If you have African hair, call Jazy Hair and ask for Amber. Perfect 10!!! Pros: Classy, great haircare products, and Amber of course!!! Cons: None more

I've tried to post a couple of reviews on here a week ago, but still don't see them so let's hope that this one goes through. Anyway, I had an appointment with Amber last Friday, and it was the best thing i've done since i've been in LA... She is so kind and very professional, she loves what she does and it shows. When i met with Amber 3 weeks ago, for my consul visit, i told her that i wanted a full weave and wanted to start taking better care of my real hair, she was so understanding and made me feel so comfortable. I mentioned to her that i don't know anything about buying extensions and so on, so she went with me to the beauty supply store to make sure i purchased the best quality hair while staying within my budget. I highly recommend Jazy Hair to everyone. I had a photoshoot the day after my app. with Amber and my hair looks great in the photos, i've had so many compliments on my hair, i'm so HAPPY!! My first visit to Jazyhair salon was a great exsperience. Amber greeted me with open arms. My hair was indestressed but Amber was able to maintain it and provide tender loving care by giving me a deep conditioning treatment, scalp massage, hair cut and also gave me a great flat iron. I was very pleased with the outcome of my hair I left the hair salon feeling great and on top of the world. Not a lot of my first time hair stylist are able to maintain my hair because it is very thick as an african american. Amber was able to maintain it with ease. Her service was awsome and she also provided great hair maintance tips. I am scheduled to come on the weekly bases. Thanks Amber, See you soon! Pros: There a awsome staff. Cons: I didnt want to leave! more

Great hair service 1/29/2008

Jasmine Bell has been doing my hair for 10 years now. She always makes my hair look beautiful- I'm so happy I found her. She is also a wonderful person who genuinely cares about doing the best job for everyone. She listens to your beauty needs and finds the best way to accomplish exactly what you need. Also, a few years ago she did the permanate hair straightening procedure on me. It was great- the results were fantastic. I'm so pleased every time I get my hair done. more
